Inflatable suits to be used in new UK TV Show

Hi Everyone!

I just finished building 4 inflatables suits for an up and coming UK television programs that is due to start filming this week.

They are the blueberry suits, 2 Blue 2 Red. Representing teams.

I don't want to give away to much at this point, but i'll be sure to post the video to my youtube channel once I have the footage of them in action.

Judging from the size of the suits would you say the inflatees will be adults?

It's interesting, but of course we all know how many of these sort of things are kids shows.

If it is an adults show then hope they are inflated as part of the show, as opposed to simply being already inflated at the beginning, though I wouldn't complain if they were.

And of course it goes without saying that I hope there are women being inflated in them. But I would think there was a pretty high chance of that with it being a regular feature :) I'm so looking forward to this!

It's probably going to be something in the style of Double Dare or American Gladiators; I imagine a kind of "sumo battle" segment.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't want people to get their hopes too high.

Like I said, I can't reveal details just yet.

But I believe there will be males and FEMALES involved, and it is inflation. Small to big, (including belt bursting).

Hopefully they'll put it off well! :D

The suits have arrived with the studio in the UK.

So I assume they have began filming.

In short, I believe celebrities (Both male and female) have to give a performance both singing and dancing in front of a panel of judges.

However they are put into odd situations (Tank full of spiders, being dunked into iced water and my contribution, being inflated.)

Obviously going from a small normal suit to a huge inflatable suit is comical, embarrassed and hard to dance in (And sing if you're worried about exploding).

I have been told I will be given footage of the segment to upload to youtube once it is complete. But, I may have to wait until it has aired before I can do so.

I have no idea of time frame or when this will be.

But I'll be sure to keep you posted.

I think the show is called "Sing if you can" and it's gonna be out this month some time (ITV). If you google it you'll find a description of the show and a list of the celeb's who are gonna be on it. Only problem I can see is having to sit thru 1 hr of cack to get to the good bit! :D

Well he isn't the one doing the filming, he made the suits for someone else.

I saw an advert, it's going to be on ITV on sat. It says it's for charity. I saw 2 people in the suits in the trailer. One was a man, but it's so fast I'm not sure who the other one was. They looked pretty inflated. I will be out when its on though.

I'm not entirely sure if the episode that aired tonight used the suits. I set it to record as I was out, but someone cancelled the recording so I only had half and hour and didn't see the suits in that.

I guess it's so out of character for me to record a show like that, that when my parents were trying to work out who had set it to record they came to the conclusion no-one wanted to watch it and it must have been set by accident and so cancelled it.

You only waited long enough for one episode. I don't think anyone knows when it's gonna be in.

I think a lot of people are getting crossed wires here. Blowup boy only made the suits and provided them to the people making the show. No-one here has any creative control over the show, when it airs or when they will use the suits.

Having spent my whole LIFE waiting for snippets of inflation-related video to appear on national television programs, I have no problem with waiting more than one episode to see something of very specific interest...!

I have nothing to feel "entitled" towards, was just looking forward to it. Only I am growing weary with all the extreme vagueness behind it.

I know that BlowupBoy is not a creative consultant behind the show or anything, it's just that I wished we had a bit more concrete details instead of just "mainstream inflation comin' your way!"

Maybe I'm just too detailed-oriented a guy, but some air dates for this episode would've been nice, is all.

Even tho I wouldn't be able to watch it since I don't live in the UK, nor do I keep up with all the hit shows.
