For me, I think it's a toss-up between Fwoosh and Creak. Fwoosh implies a large volume of air being forced into the inflatee, while Creak implies building pressure and tension.

I voted pump, but I dont have a favorite. They are all a system. One missing and the whole thing falls apart. Of course, the moaning, the sqeak, pump and creak I guess sum it up.

I've always liked hissing noises, for some reason. That and squeaking noises, but hissing is certainly my favourite...

I voted for the muffled sounds by the inflatee.
It just adds to the surprise and expression of the person who is suddenly finding themselves being inflated full of air.
Heh, it's been a while since I did one of these... and I've had the words prepared for a long time. This is also the one I'm looking forward to, what is everyone's favourite inflation sound effect... In this one I'm sticking to sound effects from the inflation process. After this though I will do similies and then a couple of word polls for those words and sound effects involving popping :)
Again there weren't enough poll options to fit all the common ones I thought of in, even after I started combining similar sounds into one option. Sounds that didn't quite make it were Bubble, Pfft, Pmph, Pshh, Gurgle and Bubble.
