Who - Personally, I prefer all fictional characters. If inflating a real-life character, it kinda removes the fantasy aspect for me.
How - Doesn't matter.

I really dont care who it is. i prefer a fictional woman, mostly because writers just describe these prefect girls. lol But if its a celebrity, or a tv show character, thats fine.
I voted air hose. The community is pretty big, and lots of people are into many different things so a normal inflation, with a helium hose, is not that common, which is strange cuz thats how they do it in cartoons lol. Im not into pills or lots of stuff to try and rationalize the whole thing. Just use an air hose. She inflates well, because she can. Theres no point in rationalizing it in my opinion.
Of course, if its a mad scientist or a sorceress who will be the inflator, I guess a pill and a spell will be more logical, respectively.

Try something novel. The methods of inflating you mention have been done to death. All the really interesting stories put a new twist on an old theme. Nanomachines are an example...they've only been used in one story I've ever read.
Not that anyone gives a rats ass...but I prefer fictional characters as well, mostly for the same reasons that doubleintegral and darth_clone19 cite above.

When it comes to inflation, I dont really care for innovation you know. Id take 10 stories with basically the same concept than one innovative inflation thats just freaky.
Fukureruba, are you talking about Nanotech pneumatics? There were nano things involved, but she stiff inflated her with a tank.

Like I said...not that anyone gives a rats ass about what I think.
The story I had read was "Balloon Tech" by Sievert.
I'm not very well known on this site but I would like to start writing some stories for the site. I recently submitted a story called Lara's swell adventures. It leads into a sequel idea. but I would like to get ppl's opinions on what kind of inflation and who they would like to see. So make suggestions and I'll do my best.
