Nevermind. Had a question but I figured it out myself.
Would you like to see a project built primarily from community-submitted content?

The important thing here is that it's still an incomplete project, and I still want to use community contributions to get it done. As mentioned above, the graphics and sound are placeholders. I heartily encourage you to make your own sprites, sounds and music, and to share it with others (or at least with me!). If you post it here, we can combine a bunch of different styles into one big mishmash.
No, no, no. You are every kid who makes an ~~amazing MMO~~ ever. Nobody will do this unless your game behind it is really good and they can get a good portfolio out of it or something.

But by that logic, nobody should ever post art because the game behind .JPGs is horrible. I'm just offering something other than still images to work with.
Don't get me wrong. Your point, though depressing, is valid. To that end, tell me what you'd define as really good so I can upgrade the thing. That is, after all, exactly what I'm asking for in the first place.
Okay, I'm putting this in a new thread for cleanliness. From now on, if I ever make an update, I'll just edit the link in this post.
Meet AMP, the last independent release:

Now, for those who aren't familiar with the situation, a few months back I offered to build a simple game based on community suggestions and contributions.
It, uh, didn't really take off.
Even so, I went ahead with the project using basic placeholder graphics and sounds, and the result (finally) is AMP - A basic castle defense game with an inf theme. Judging from the (let's say quiet) response, I did a pretty piss-poor job of it, but it was a lot of time invested and I'm personally happy with my work.
Anyhow, this post marks what I call the 'last independent release', which basically means that I personally consider the engine done. If someone ever asks me to change something, I will, and happily, but otherwise I'm not going to mess with it.

I kind of expected this plan to fail, but I really hoped it would succeed. Please, I'm asking one more time, help me out here.
