Only the firmest and most resolute of land remained, and thereupon we have mountains.

With it, she grows to become the size of the shrine itself, bearing the rains of tomorrow, and when she is at a size she can most handle, she gives birth to clouds---the ones that give us our sacred rain. That accomplishment done, she sinks to the water for another year of rains.

Down in the depths of the sea lies a maiden who is part-mermaid. She lacks the fins and gills of a full-blood but is no less powerful as she has mastered the power of bubbles, swelling them as strikes her fancy--in the water, within others, or within herself. Rumors say she was once a sailor, daughter of the famed MacNamaras, whose ship was destroyed one stormy night while following in her parents' footsteps. Yet in defiance of expectations she survived, blessed by the merfolk below to breathe even in a forbidding environment. It was then that she discovered the art of creating bubbles, a skill only further honed by training with her saviors. To this day, she surfaces once in a while to connect with friends from above before returning to the deep. If you see her then, do not be alarmed by her long green hair or inflated body--she is very friendly to those who show kindness and courtesy in turn.

Not simply content with that, however, I decided I wanted to have the other two Inflatable Dolls in the picture. As Shannon and Gelatria took a stroll through the grassy plains, the duchess cradled her swollen belly with her hands, marveling at its size. She had only been studying inflation under the great sorceress for, what, ten months since her former rival made up with her? Still, she had come so far since the very first time she inflated. The embarrassment and fear she once had were now but distant memories as she breathed the air on the crisp spring afternoon.
That said, she was still nowhere near Shannon's level of mastery with body inflation magic. Already, the sorceress's belly was becoming transparent as her skin stretched freely with little restraint other than the need for mobility. As the two walked down the sandy path, Gelatria admired how powerful and capable the sorceress was. "Shannon, no matter how long I've been training my body under your tutelage," she began, "I feel I still have much to learn!"
Shannon turned to the duchess with a smile. "Why yes, you still have horizons to seek with your expansion capabilities. But don't worry about rushing into it--the best learning comes naturally and with practice." As if to relieve the duchess of her worries, she then casually bumped her belly against the other.
Gelatria blushed as their soft, stretchy flesh rubbed against each other; myriad positive feelings stirred within her. She found herself hugging her belly even tighter. Perhaps today was an excellent day for a stroll after all.

Have you ever chewed some bubblegum and blown it up? Normally the gum would pop before it could get bigger than your head, but what if you could blow it up bigger? In fact, what if you could become the bubblegum as it swells up?
You body would become thick and pink. It probably wouldn't get sticky, but you'd suddenly be much more elastic. As your insides simply vanish to be replaced with air, you start to expand from your belly outward. Soon, as you swell with the bubble you're also blowing, your clothes give out leaving you fully naked. And then, suddenly, you feel funny in your genitals. It turns out that they're transforming into the neck of a balloon. Elated with your metamorphosis, you blow the bubble bigger and bigger, letting the air within you multilpy and stretch your body to a pleasantly round shape. Suddenly, you feel your weight disappear and your feet losing contact with the ground. But that's okay, because for some reason a rope has been tied to the neck of your balloony body. Secured to the ground but still free to float, you blow more and more into the bubble, the two of you expanding to a blissful climax...
It would be a lovely dream to become a bubblegum balloon.
After a few months of painstaking scientific labor, Number 21 finally created a gas that is even lighter than hydrogen (and a lot more inert, too). Obviously, she chose to demonstrate this to the scientific community by filling herself up with it.

One evening, Gloria decided to hold a special gathering with her friend Marcy and her good acquaintance Trini. Not long after she finished her day's work of fortune telling, she had everyone gather around the table where she usually has her clients. Then, with a mighty magical puff she swelled her belly to a comfortably large size and invited the others to do the same. No sooner did they do so than their bellies also began to balloon with the same magic she had. Once they were fully inflated, they spent the rest of the time bumping their huge, lightweight bellies together and generally enjoying the comfortable and joyous feeling of being so balloon-like...

Just because you have a little limp in your step doesn't mean you can't fly. Kiki certainly knows this, and she's not afraid of puffing herself up as big and lightweight as possible to achieve her dreams!
(Essentially, I haven't drawn Kiki in a while, so I decided to rectify that with a simple drawing of her with a really bloated belly. As for Izar, I imagine he's keeping the house safe while she's out enjoying herself!

Morgan and Marcy decided to have a sleepover, and the former's used her inflation magic to turn both of them into pajama-clad balloons floating along with some magical bubbles. They're certainly enjoying it!

Since Katty and Lizzy are good friends, they of course enjoy each other's company, whether it be hanging out with their respective older sisters, sleeping over, or (in this case) blowing up their bellies into big balloons and floating away into the sky for a fun romp through the clouds. Nothing beats an excursion like that, after all.

Demon Girl Appreciation Day is a special day where we celebrate demon girls of all forms. It was started last year by TheEnglishGent from dA, and ever since it's been going strong. As such, I decided to participate by drawing my own demon girl for the occasion. Of course, she's not going to be a new OC, but I feel this pic is good practice for when I do get around to drawing Shannon's redhead succubus assistant.
By the way, I also improved on my airbrush shading technique since my last deviation, so now it actually looks decent and detailed. I might do some more work on the technique and see if I can combine it with cel-shading, but for now I'm really happy with how this turned out!

Gloria and Sumia happen to be best friends who often hang out when they're not busy at work. For Gloria, it's a chance to relax and have fun, while Sumia can engage in body inflation-based shenanigans without having to worry about being seen. It's a good thing they have a private area near their apartment, too, complete with a pool to swim in should they desire!
Also, I decided to try using airbrushing to shade and add highlights for once. The result is actually really smooth and allows for some neat detail, though it's not as crisp as cel-shading. Still, the quality is really superior to what I was doing before. I might end up alternating between cel- and airbrush-shading in the future.

So, when 2013 came to a close I decided it would be nice to get into some backstory and characterization for some of my characters. Hence, I decided to show Gelatria* learning how to get her inflation curse under control with the help of Shannon. I'm also planning on making a story based on this piece which will get deeper into the story and hopefully set up some worldbuilding as well. Until then, enjoy!

In celebration not only of this Halloween, but also of the upcoming game Mighty No. 9 ( mightyno9.com ), I have decided to draw some fanart of 21 cosplaying as the lead character Beck, right down to giving his signature Mighty Salute. I've even mimicked the look of the cel-shaded concept art of Beck (eyes included!), the typeface used for the Japanese descriptors of the other Mighty Numbers, and some aspects of the logo. Overall, I think this really suits 21's love of making costumes and clothes, as well as the fact that both Beck and 21 are robots who can transform at a molecular level (Beck via xels, 21 via "nanoslime" technology). As for the game itself, I'm looking forward to playing it, even if I don't come close to beating it!

It wasn't the fact that the queen looked wide compared to a regular chess set's queen, or that the knights were unusually expressive, or even that the pawns would take on the characteristics of the piece they were promoted to. Instead, the very moment their bodies and clothes puffed up to queen size in the most literal way possible was when they realized someone had tampered with the board. Meanwhile, not far off the perpetrator smirked, another prank successfully pulled off...
