Stories upload and date

 I've recently uploaded two stories, one is already available (Inflate night). But I set date to 2010 11, which is true. This story was posted on my DA long ago.

By default, stories are sorted descending by the date they were written, not the upload date. Hence, old story, which was not present in the library goes deep to some second or third page. I presume, that it wouldn't be seen by people looking for new stuff. Am I right? Is this intended?
