Potentially Controversial Thought

Now, I am not sure how to ask this, so I'll be blunt.

How does the inflation community view transgenders, transexuals, and transvestites?

I am mostly curious because I am a transgender in real life, been a major issue in identity and other personal issues not needed to be spoken here. But I am an expansion fetishist and have noted a large amount of the community has arguments over gender around time and time again. The largest and most grating it seems is the presence of females in this community, hotly debated and pointless in my opinion. Now, I know that I am not a "woman" through and through, but on an identity level, I technically am.

I have seen some aspects of gender changing sift through the community before, but more in breast expansion stories than anything else. Some even have said that sex change has nothing to do with inflation. So I come here to ask for opinions and thoughts.

I know that a large amount of work around here is of women, a small fraction is of men, and of course almost no transgenders. Is this simply because transgenders have not come up? Or is there an active avoidance of this subject?

Mostly this comes through because that brave soul of a man who got his own breast implants made a topic a while back. Reception has been mixed but mostly encouraging, so I ask what the views are when it comes to taking it a step further? (Not saying he has gender issues)

Is there disgust or avoidance of women, females, or inflatees that were once men but are in several ways female in structure and arguably mindset? Is it a completely different subject than male inflation, which some see as also being controversial? And of course on the opposite, what about male characters that were once female?

I guess I could be ranting and rambling about something most people don't want to think about.

But since I have seen over the years surges and lulls in the gender argument I decided to bring up a section here about a different group in sex. A third "miscellenaeous" group.

I'm not sure how the community feels about people like me. A man in the process of transforming into a woman. Is there a disgust at the mental fantasy of a man wanting to be a woman, then having an expansionist fetish to boot? Or is understandable? Or even a total waste of thought?

Ever since I was a child I've had issues with gender identity, been fighting and consulting and soul searching. The expansionist fetish only came along a few years ago. I can see how the two are connected, a longing for a feminine figure, an unreachable dream of becoming pregnant, the obsession with femininity. Transgenders are a real (in my opinion) consideration when it comes to gender.

Of course, I'm not sure how you all feel about that. If the image of a female, once a male, with expanding breasts or a bloating belly immediately turns you off. Or if there is not much difference.

How does one feel about roleplaying with a transgender? Physically a man, or becoming a woman, or already a woman but was once a man. Is the idea just as repulsive as roleplaying with a man pretending to be a woman? Something to keep out of mind and out of sight? I'm not sure. Which is why I'm asking.

From what I've seen, its a lot to do with whether or not you are upfront about it.  This are some members of this community (for lack of a better word) seem to get there undies in a bunch when they find out that a "she" is really a "he", and I have no idea if they are a majority or minority, but, they sure are a loud bunch regardless.  However, this is mostly in videos and pics that this happens, don't know about art, cause there ain't much made of it (might be, but, I don't go looking for it, not into it)

Just a warning about some of the jerks we have around here.  As for me, I say live and let live. Do what you want, I won't say a thing about it either way, its not my thing.

So many inflation drawings lack flow/life, they are just a girl standing around with a hose stuck somewhere and large whatevers.

Eh, it's not something I'm too bothered about. I've read alot of stories where the inflatee was a man but through some sort of magic, he became a she and started to inflate. In fact, the story I'm writing has it where the main character was a man but cursed to be a woman. But for me, I'd perfur it that the inflatee was a woman to begain with and if someone makes with the TG I'm not going to complain about it.

Doesn't bother me at for RP purposes.  When I'm the vic I RP as my male gender, female when I RP as the aggressor.  No one's complained to me about that.

It's usually the question of who is and isn't a biological woman that brings out the trolls around here.  If you're upfront about wanting to roleplay TG I think most of the responses you'll get will be from people who are interested.  You might also want to consider using matchmaking tools like F-List to find people with similar fetishes.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest.  I would describe myself as gender-dysphoric myself, but what you're into is more important than what gender you are.  Also, in a romantic sense, personality is more important than gender to me.
