Quick background and quick question, just for entertainment purposes...growing up I remembered watching an episode of the Gumby animation..."Grub Grabber Gumby", where he dreams he is hooked up to a feeding machine. Anyway, its been decades since I last saw it and, on a lark, I watched the episode on Amazon.
Odd part is, my recollection had him being stuffed way bigger than was actually in the cartoon. I mean, really big...but in watching the actual cartoon, he was fattened up, but hardly the same as I remembered from being a little kid.
Anyone else have a particularly vivid memory, only to find the actual clip, years later, wasn't quite like you remembered it?
Yes, from the movie "dumbo". I thought those clowns had water in their pants in that firemen act. But not. :(
But in one scene a clown deflated his inflated suit. Why didn't I remember that then? :o
