It sounds good, and it opens the posibility for a large number to play.
Should we have a separate forum for roleplaying?
For the love of whomever, yes! I think the sheer amount of requests warrant its on individual forum section.
Ya the general dicussion seems to be flooded with rp requests lately. I think role playing having it's own form would be nice as a lot of people here have been after a dedicated rp thread for some time now so a forum would be even better. It would be a distict place for rper's to go thus cutting down on the clutter in the general dissusion.
I voted and Lol at the vote results. it's pretty funny to me when one side completely destroys the other.
It's not even one side completely destroying the other. It's just one side.
I think 19 consecutive Yes votes is pretty decisive. Working on it now.
I think that on the "marketing" side of things it should still be viewable by non members of BI. My reasoning is that:
1. If new people see that we have an elaborate rp community, that may drive them To make an account and post.
2. Rpers want to get their name out if they are looking for partners. These partners do not have to be strictly members and if the content is limited to just members, rpers will not have their name as widely dispersed.
On another note, I think that the rp times and preferences thread that has some 140-odd posts should be made a sticky in the new rp forum. It is the largest collection of contacts thus far and would be a shame to lose in the clutter.
Sure, I think that may even motivate some of us to participate in the RP thing here, because it would have its own section and we wouldnt bother aybody else.
Of course. It's kind of obnoxious when all the content gets pushed out of the way because 80% of the posts are RP stuff.
I've noticed a large number of roleplaying requests in the General Discussion Forum. Since it seems like it's a fairly small number of people who are actually roleplaying, would it make sense to put those requests in their own space and leave General Discussion for discussion?
