Story of princesses and balloon suits 2: The Powerpuffy Princesses
It was a nice sunny day at the Mushroom Kingdom and Peach had invited her friends Daisy and Rosalina for a lunch outside.
"It's great that we're at spring already!" said Peach happily.
"Yeah." said Daisy "I was starting to get tired of the winter cold." continued as she turned at Rosalina, who was watching TV in a portable TV set.
Rosalina suddenly stopped on the News Channel.
"And we cut to some breaking news!" said Reporter Shy Guy "A group of Subconians has broke into the Mushroom Kingdom Bank recently and is taking the money away!"
"Oh no!" said Peach "And Mario and Luigi aren't here!!"
"They aren't?" asked Rosalina.
"No." said Daisy "We suggested them to take a break at a mountain resort at Rock-Rock Mountain. We didn't even know that this was going to happen, seriously!"
"What do we do then?" said Peach.
"I think I have an idea..." said Daisy as she went to a pondering position "Maybe we could take the suits we found time ago and kick those guys out ourselves!"
"You think so, Daisy?" asked Rosalina.
"Yeah, we already saw what they can do. I say we give it a try!" answered Daisy.
"Fine then." said Peach "Let's save that bank!"
With a swing of her wand, Rosalina changed the three into their Hot Air Suits and they took off to the Mushroom Kingdom Bank after inflating them.
Meanwhile, the rogue Subconians had the people inside as hostages and the bankers were putting the money inside the bags.
"C'mon! Move faster!" ordered a Shy Guy.
"I can't pour coins faster that I'm doing!" said the banker Toad scared.
"Do what he says or you get it!" said a Snifit as he pointed at the Toad with his mouth.
The Toad eventually filled the bag with coins and gave it to the Shy Guy, who threw it an Ostro's back.
"We're outta here!" said the Snifit when suddenly someone opened the door. The heroines had arrived!
"Who are those balloon-clad freaks?" said Shy Guy.
"We're the... Uhhh... Powerpuffy Princesses!!" said Daisy as she made a heroic pose.
"You're going to jail for trying to rob this bank!" said Peach angrily.
"Oh yeah?" said the Snifit "This will burst your bubble!!" continued as he fired bullets at the princesses' suits but they bounced them back without problem.
"Uh oh..." said the Subconian thieves at the same time.
The three girls jumped at them and knocked them out of the bank with their inflated suits.
Everyone cheered on the trio for saving them.
"How will we ever repay you?" said the banker Toad happily.
"We just do our job as heroines." said Rosalina "No need to reward us."
"You're very modest, ladies." said the Toad "But anyway, we'd like to thank you for saving us from those thieves."
"No worries, guys." said Daisy as the three left the bank.
Once they were outside, the girls deflated their suits.
"Whew!" said Peach "Good thing we arrived in time."
"See? I told you we should have done this!" said Daisy "Maybe this thing about beign superheroes works better than expected and we eventually become the backup of Mario and Luigi!"
"It would be nice." said Rosalina.
Little they did know that the Shy Guy from before was stalking them and had recognized Peach's figure.
"The boss ain't gonna like this." said the Shy Guy as he rushed to his boss' hideout.
In there, Wart was at his room when he saw the thief team coming in.
"Well, well." said Wart "Did you get my money?"
"Sadly, we didn't..." said a Twitter.
"But I thought the Mario Brothers were out!" said Wart.
"They are but we got stopped by someone else!" said Snifit.
"And who was it?" asked Wart
"It was the princess Peach!" said the Shy Guy from the distance. "She and two friends of hers came in with some sort of inflatable suits and foiled our plans!"
"What?" said Wart angrily "First she tries to overcome my minions with her floating thing and now this?!"
"It seems that they were playing superhero." commented Shy Guy.
"Is that so?" said Wart "Well, she must know that all superheroes keep their identities as secret because they're worried about their sweethearts..."
"Are you planning something, boss?" asked Ostro.
"What else could be plotting about?" answered Wart with a chuckle as he took out a phone "Find them and bring them here!" ordered to the person at the other end.
Meanwhile, at Rock-Rock Mountain, Mario and Luigi were doing a little hike around the place.
"It sure was nice for the princesses to tell us about this place, right-a Luigi?" asked Mario.
"Indeed, brother." said Luigi "I just hope that Bowser doesn't try to kidnap them again..."
"He's too busy ordering Boom Boom and Pom Pom to scrub the basement's floor after what happened last time." commented Mario.
"Oh yeah." said Luigi.
Suddenly, two Albatosses flew in and grabbed the brothers with their talons.
"Mamma mia!" yelled both.
"Where are they taking us?!" said Mario shocked.
"I don't know..." said Luigi in a sad and worried tone.
Back to the princesses, they went back to Peach Castle.
"You know?" said Daisy "I'm starting to wonder why would those Subconians want the money?"
"Yeah." said Rosalina "Those aren't common members of the Koopa Troop, right?"
"It may be someone else..." said Peach when suddenly a letter flew over them.
Peach grabbed the letter and took it a gander.
"Oh my goodness!!" said Peach shocked.
"What's the matter?" said Daisy and Rosalina as Peach showed them the letter.
"Dear Powerpuffy Princesses,
if you want your sweethearts back go to the Mushroom Kingdom Harbor and look for the warehouse numbered as 091088."
"Mario and Luigi got kidnapped?!" said Daisy.
"That doesn't sound good!" said Rosalina.
"Let's go rescue them!" said Peach as she inflated her suit and flew to the harbor, followed by Daisy and Rosalina.
They soon arrived at the meeting point and saw Mario and Luigi hanging tied up.
"Mario! Luigi!" yelled both Peach and Daisy.
"Princess, look out!" said Mario.
"It's a trap!" said Luigi
"What?!" said Rosalina but suddenly a trap door opened below the princesses' feet and they feel down. Luckily, they inflated their suits to make a soft landing.
"What was that for?" said Daisy in anger.
"Greetings, ladies." said Wart as he came in riding his carpet.
"Wart?! But how?" said Peach shocked.
"Wait a sec..." said Rosalina "You're the one behind the robbery, right?"
"Clever girl." said Wart "I wanted the money to develop my Dream Machine so I would be able to rule both the Mushroom Kingdom and Subcon!" explained and then he burst into laughter.
"You evil frog!!" yelled Daisy "And why did you kidnap Mario and Luigi?!"
"It's the bad thing of being a superhero, you know?" said Wart "You should be aware of that. Now, my partners, get them!!" continued as he called Mouser, Tryclide, Fryguy and Clawgrip.
"Girls, watch out with Tryclide and Fryguy." whispered Peach at Daisy and Rosalina "If a single fireball touches us, we'll get overinflated."
Daisy and Rosalina replied with a nod.
The three engaged into a fight with the four of Wart's sidekicks. However, Tryclide and Fryguy were fought in a distance due to their disadvantage against them.
However, the enemies were eventually knocked out thanks to their inflated suits that could rebound Mouser's bombs and Clawgrip's boulders.
"All done!" said Rosalina.
"Give up now, Wart!" ordered Peach.
"Ha! Now that I've arrived here, I'm not going to hold back!" said Wart as he called a revamped Robirdo "Let's have fun with my new toy!"
"That robot is huge!" said Peach shocked.
"C'mon, bring it!" said Daisy in a smug tone.
The girls tried to fight Robirdo but its eggs were to big to be bounced back by their suits.
"If only we could get this suits bigger..." said Rosalina.
"That's it!" said Peach as she moved to the knocked out Fryguy.
"Are you going to do what I think you're going to do?" said Daisy as Peach's suit overinflated at the heat.
"I take that answers your question." commented Rosalina "We'll have to aid her!"
Daisy and Rosalina followed Peach and used the heat to overinflate the suits.
"This is not good..." muttered Wart.
The three rolled towards Robirdo and knocked it down, causing it to explode and send everyone away.
"I'LL BE BAAAAAAAACK!!" yelled Wart as he flew away a la Team Rocket.
Luckily, the girls just landed near Mario and Luigi, who broke free now that Wart was gone.
They deflated the princesses and hugged them thanfully.
"Thanks for the help, princesses!" said Mario.
"You're welcome, my love." said Peach.
"C'mon, let's go home!" said Rosalina as she inflated her suit.
The three girls flew back to the Mushroom Kingdom as Mario and Luigi sat on their respective lovers' suits.
