The weirdest ones are those where someone has posted an RP request and then that thread gets necroed 5 years later. It's one thing if you think you have something new to say about an old subject, quite another if you just post 'yeah i'll chat with you' to someone who hasn't responded in that long.

Agree with this. The only reason to ressurrect a dead thread should be if you have something usefull to add: Like if there was an old request for a picture, movie and no-one was unable to find that...until you found it. Years later.
But be sure to read the whole thread so you don't add something that has already been added

What are even worse are the ones who necrobump all the "hey guize ima 'real' girl lets rp lols" threads that were started several years ago...when the OP hasn't posted anything since making said thread.
I mean are some people on here that lonely and desparate for "female" compansionship that they resort to this sort of thing?

Actually I see your frustration in this. I can think of SPECIFIC users (*cough*Darius*cough*StickySiteLover*cough*) that are notorious for responding to these necro-threads. Do they not even pay attention to the date the last post was sent? Wake up people!!
