I know its come up before (as in years ago), but is anyone interested in having an inflatable costume convention? I know its happened at furry cons and fetish cons, and being a contingent at one of these would be fine I'm sure. Or a half-dozen or so of us could just decide to meet in Vegas one weekend and take the place by storm! Circus Circus would be perfect!

I actually organise a Furry Convention. For those who would be seriously interested I can use my experience and skill to look into organising something offical.
(Been apart of many furry inflation parties that for sure!)
Wouldn't be expecting a huge turn out. But you never know, could be fun to meet each other!

I've been to the Circus Circus hotel before. (this was for the SEMA Show)
First off it's a family oriented hotel...a convention like this may not be welcomed.
It may have to be held in one of the smaller (off strip) hotels or a whole floor to be reserved for the convention.
OK... but at least some of us should still do the rounds through the Luxor, Caesar's Palace, etc up and down the strip!
Vegas is probably the best US locale since flights and hotels are the most affordable there.

I live in Las Vegas, and there ARE some places on, and off-strip that would work well. Off-strip, but only a few blocks away is Palace Station. The Gargoyles convention was held there one year, so dealing with us weirdos in costume won't be a super-big deal. The costs would be substantually LESS, than being on-strip, and for a smaller con, ideal. There's one issue with being on-strip, and over a weekend..LOTS of nasty drunk tourists, that might get their rocks off on trying to pop a "crazy inflatable ANYTHING".
I have lots of knowledge of Vegas properties (I looked into having a small anime con, years and years ago..Palace Station was the best of the lot) so, i'd love to be of any help! Ask away, any questions!

Well, it looks like Palace Station is across the freeway from the strip. I'd love to be able to tour the strip without having to take a vehicle to get there, for obvious reasons. I take it Caesar's Palace, Ecalibur, etc are really expensive? I realize that I am more of an exhibitionist than most here, but "doing the strip" in full gear would be a *huge* turn-on for me! Maybe stay out of the Venetian, cuz falling into the canal would have tragic consequences, even though it would be pretty damn funny I'm sure seeing Fannybelle ride in one of them little gondolas...
Just to cast my vote here, I would love to attend a convention of inflation fans! Than again, there are tons of things like comic-cons, anime-cons, etc that I have my heart set on to attend and I never have the funds to do so. BLEH But, should one occur I would try my damndest to be there!
I'd love to go to a convention, but I live so far away. North of the border, up in Canada lol. Oh well.
I've never been to any of the sex or alt. conventions outside of anime ones. It would be nice if there were some out there to actually go to, but it might be embarassing to have family along for them since I don't drive or have other friends to go with.
Well,if it's at one of the LV properties, you'd only need a ride to your airport and fly to the LV airport and then take a taxi (some hotels even off free shuttles.)
Of course, Halloween in Vegas would be the perfect venue for this, in case anyone is concerned about looking too weird in public! :)

Inevitably, no matter what time you schedule something, it will conflict with something else. As for me, if I have to choose between inflatable costumes and gearhead stuff, inflatable costumes win. Every time.
