Beast of Light

Maryann Luke was a great geologist, although she never made the great find that would launch one to the top of her field. She was ultimately committed to the research of indigenous tribes of people in Africa.Her documentation was outstanding yet she couldn't have prepared forher stay with the Ouctawie people. When Maryann arrived they weren't too much different from the surrounding tribes in the country. Save for the large crater that was in the middle of their settlement. Every time Maryann tried to lean in and take a peek into the dark hole one of the Ouctawie would grab her by the arm and pull her back.

"What's in the big hole?" Maryann asked in their language to the local woman that had pulled her back.

"The beast of light lives there" the woman answered with the most scared look upon her face.

Maryann found herself obsessed with the giant hole in the ground and wanted to find out as much as possible. She confronted the chieftain of the tribe and he wasn't any help.

"You stay away from the hole and stop poking your nose in things that don't concern you" the chieftain said. Maryann knew very well that within their land, she was under the law of the Ouctawie.

"I just want to learn of your people and show the world your wonderful ways of life" Maryann said, to calm the chieftain.

"There is nothing to learn of us, all of our secrets are forbidden to outsiders" barked the chieftain who puffed his chest. "If I catch you poking around the hole or my chambers I'll have you thrown to the beast" continued the chieftain.

"What is the beast of light?" asked Maryann.

"Get out!" yelled the chieftain.

With the chieftains anger raging, his guard stood to defend him. Maryann backed away and exited the chieftains tent but the thought of what he said didn't leave her mind. Something in the chieftains chambers had to say something about the large hole and the beast inside. She knew that she'd be killed if she were to get caught going into the chambers but it was a risk she had to take to get her big break. The next couple of days that was all she could think about. Maryann had to get into there and learn as much as she could to be satisfied. On the three day of pondering over it she decided to take action. She waited till a nice family had left their tent that evening. She took a torch and laid it beside the fabric of their tent. As it slowly started to burn she sneaked over close to the chieftain's tent. The scene of the burning tent caught everyone attention even the chieftain and his guards. Maryann bolted into his tent and ran into the back part of the tent that was covered. Throwing the door cover off she was amazed by what she saw. Knowing that she didn't have much time she started snapping shots with her camera. Everything went smoothly till she saw an aquarium that had a green blob in it that pulsed with light. She tapped on the glass and it jumped with surprise, so did Maryann.

"What the hell is that?" she muttered to herself.

"Something you should have never laid eyes on!" yelled the chieftain from behind her.

She knew that second she had be caught and her heart raced as she tried to think of a way of escaping the Ouctawie. By the time she had turn to the chieftain he was in her face and grabbed her by the neck. Wheezing for air, Maryann fought for her life. The chieftain was stronger than he looked in his old age. He dragged Maryann by her neck outside for everyone to see.

"This is what happens to anyone who enters my tent. They are feed the beast!" yelled the chieftain.

"Please don't feed me to it!" begged Maryann.

The chieftain laughed, "I'm not, I'm feeding you the beast! Just like anyone else who pokes their nose in my private chamber."

Maryann didn't understand the translation of what he said but didn't have much time to think about it. A second later she was thrown into the dark pit and fell about twenty feet into soft dirt. Stunned by the fall she rounded around in the dirt before standing.

"You wanted to be filled with knowledge, now let it fill you" yelled down the chieftain.

"What the hell does that mean?" yelled Maryann back up to him.

Her sight was pulled down to right in front of her as she heard a growl and a bubbling sound. Slowly the hole lit up with a green light. In front of her was a huge green blob like the small one in the aquarium in the chieftains private chamber. Like a solid mount of jello in front of her that bubbled inside it at the sight of Maryann. Suddenly the blob scooted towards Maryann and she backed up. Then tentacle-like arms sprouted out of the blob and waved around seemingly aimless.

"Someone help me!" yelled Maryann. The blob bubbled loudly then the tentacles whipped out and grabbed her ankles. It pulled with a great force and make her land on her back. "Please stop!" yelled Maryann at the blob.

Two more tentacles wrapped around her wrists and pulled her onto her feet. Then it pulled her arms above her head and her legs apart. Making her look like she got stuck in a jumping jack. Maryann arms began to ache from being pulled so hard.

"Please stop this" whimpered Maryann.

A fifth tentacle came from the blob and floated in front of her face. She shut her mouth as the tentacle brushed her lips. It hit her, the blob is trying to feed itself to her. She knew that she couldn't fit all of it in her, she would burst if it tried. Then two tentacles came out and pulled up her shirt and tickled her sides. When she broke a smile the tentacle in her face pushed between her lips then pried her jaw open. The tentacle inflated pulling her mouth wide open. Sickenly the slimy blob slide down her throat, like a large ball of jello it poured into her. She groaned as her belly started to feel full after just a few moments. She looked down past the mouth tentacle and saw her once flat belly push out. She tried to bite down but the density of the tentacle was incredible like a green fire hose in her mouth. The blob hummed and grew brighter as if excited by entering Maryann. Like a balloon, her belly blew up bigger and bigger. Then with a strange new sensation, her boobs began to expand. "Come on, beast of light. Let's fight! I'll break you and break you and –" Maryanns threat was cut off as the blob inside her moved. Her boobs and butt shrank as the blob all moved to her stomach. She groaned as her beach ball belly weighed her down.
