I realise some of us want to be the inflator and others the inflatee, but i have a question for you all. If you somehow ended up in real life with the inevitable prospect of being inflated, how do you think you'd actually feel about it? Would it be terrifying or horrible, or a good thing, or does it depend. or is it something else? Also, if you're usually at one end of the pump, how would you feel about being at the other end in fantasy?

As someone that was introduced to the BI world by a g-f that wanted to be inflated, and eventually embraced it to where the idea of being the inflator or inflatee was an equally enjoyable prospect, I think I would feel totally happy about it. To me however, the prospect of being a balloon person and enjoying every minute of it was the end in and of itself. This of course assuming that there is some condition that makes the whole prospect real. The whole idea of it being a forced thing, or popping, is to me totally repugnant. The whole prospect to me should be a pleasurable experience. IMHO
As a person who'd like to be inflated, I'd say it depends on the scenario. Obviously, inflation is not a real possibility in today's world. So if someone kidnapped me, jammed a high pressure air hose up in me and turned it on, I'd be pretty terrified as it would probably result in my death. At the very least, serious injury.
Now, if some medical breakthrough made it possible for people to inflate (i.e. inflatable implant(s)) and I was going to besafely inflated, then I would enjoy and arroused throughout the entire thing.
