Private Places to Practice Inflation?

I don't get to play around with my inflatable suits as much as I'd like to because of a lack of privacy at home.  Usually, I end up inflating late at night but I can't handle late nights like I used to (it makes me groggy for several days afterward).  I've also considered renting a hotel room, though I'm a littie nervous that the sound of the pump might attract unwanted attention or complaints from people in adjacent rooms.  I've even entertained the thought of seeing if I can afford a small condo or something like that (not just for inflation, also for a private get away whenever I need one).

Does anybody else have this problem, and how do you get around it?

I find I can get away with it in the day from time to time on my own, I also get the pleasure of inflation late at night with my girlfriend. So in saying that I can't complain about the time I get, its just in the same location everytime.

Getting a hotel room can actually be a viable solution.  When I moved across country, I was living in a hotel (Extended Stay America) for a few months before I found an apartment.  My inflatable suit was one thing I didn't let the movers take, knowing I would want to inflate anytime.  I was a little sceptical at first, thinking I would draw attention to myself, but some advice I can offer is:

- Get a room at the end of the hall, preferably as far from the reception desk/main entrance as possible - gets you away from the most incoming/outgoing traffic.

- If your pump is a little loud, set it up in the bathroom.  Turn on the exhaust fan and/or the AC to add to the white noise.  If anyone gets suspicious of the sound, they might think its the hairdryer, as almost every hotel bathroom has one.

- With the pump in the bathroom, have a hose that can still reach into the main room.  I've discovered it can be difficult to inflate in small hotel bathrooms with the risk of getting stuck.

- AND definitely make sure the curtains are closed and your door is locked!  Put the "Do Not Disturb" sign out if you have to.

I hope this can be of help to you.  I know the cost of hotel rooms are not the most feasible, but the privacy is still a nice comfort.

Thanks for the tips!  It's good to know that option has worked for somebody.  I'll think it over some more to decide if I want to give it a try.
