I find that a fun thing to do is share ideas, group brainstorm, and just trying to inspire one another. Works great for roleplay scenario generation, story inspiration, and just a nice poll/sharing of thoughts.
Specifically, I'd love to hear people's fantasies, ideas, and inspirations for Popping. To give it a bit more focus, and cause that's almost a "requirement" for my inflation related ideas.
Now, there are no "bad" ideas, every idea, thought, fantasy, regardless if it makes any sense is still a contribution to a pop-pourri of inspiration.
One of my favourite fantasies or "settings" are the ones implied in works like Owen's "Inflation Brothel" and that old game on "Pop-In" yahoo group. Where inflation is normal, orgasmic, and popping is pretty much a gaurentee (in those stories for women, men aren't addressed) So, for me- a good popping fantasy has it almost "normal" or "expected" in terms of the context of the world and story. How the inflatee reacts can definitely vary, but being a regular (permanent) occurrence is what thrills me.
I have another fun one that's a "blueberry overdose" in which the gum (or pills, or drink) is an available and expensive sex toy/drug. It causes blueberry inflation, but only to a fully round size without risk of bursting (except for really small users). However, either through hedonism, lack of foresight, or just sexual thrill someone ODs and naturally can't stretch enough.
Hand pumps, (I always imagine a bike pump) are quite fun in themselves. And make a good opportunity for a sadistic inflator pumping up the helpless inflatee. But, one of my favourite scenarios in which the roles were reversed. The inflatee keeps asking, even demanding, more pumps when she's clearly at her limits. Straining and creaking to hold herselft together. And her more and more worried/anxious inflator gingerly pumps until she finally can't take it anymore.

:) This is a nice thread to see appear. I don't want to give away too much about stories that I may be working on, but from time to time I have new ideas come into my head, and sometimes I remember them, sometimes I forget them and sometimes they're used in RPs.
One of my favourite off-the-wall ideas involved an intelligent gas which an unsuspecting girl breathes in. Usually this is the result of misadventure, but it could fit into any scenario. The gas' method of reproduction is like a virus, in that it finds a host and then reproduces until it overwhelms the host and escapes to infect others. I didn't go down a whole 'infection' route though. The gas doesn't have symptoms of sickness or anything. It is simply breathed in. Once inside the poor girl, it begins to reproduce and the increasing amount of gas blows her up. The gas, once inside her can also communicate with her telephathically, so it can taunt her as she gets bigger and bigger, telling her how it's gonna escape by blowing her apart ;)
I do enjoy bike-pump inflations too, there's something about the simple manualness of it. And that as the inflator pumps air into the ever-more-pressurised inflatee, they can feel the pressure pushing back on the pump. It's a kind of release for the inflator as well as the inflatee when she explodes, as the pressure pushing out on the pump will suddently disappear. I like to imagine that last pump as the inflator pushes the plunger in and feels the resistance pushing back, like pushing against a spring. This is accompanied by creaks from the inflatee's body and possibly a sensual moan from her too, before BANG all gone!
