Wow. I inflated myself for the first time last night using a bike pump and my god it felt good! I managed to get a good 5 or 6 pumps in me before I felt full, I could feel my belly get harder – I expect I bulged maybe a couple of extra inches?
I can't believe it too this long to take the plunge and finally give it a try! The only thing I had a problem with is air escaping from around the tube as I pumped it in, it wasn't a lot of air that got out, but I want it all in me ha-ha. Any ways to stop this?
I'm going to try inflating with water over the weekend and then maybe try both at the same time; I've heard that the bubble sensation can be quite appealing!

Right on, only suggestion I could make on stopping the air from escaping would be fitting plug onto the end of the hose? Anyway, be careful, take it slow and have fun :p
