Any particular franchise or form media that you all think could use some more attention among the inflation community? Whether it be art, stories, anything that recognizes it in any way here. Personally, I think the Fire Emblem series of video games should get some more recognition here. There are plenty of cute girls in those games that would make for awesome balloons! :3

How about none?
Fetishizing characters who were never meant to have explicit sexual appeal really rubs me the wrong way and strikes me as kinda creepy. More importantly, it teaches bad habits. It has the potential to cause illustrators to copy another person's style and technique rather than develop their own. It can also result in lazy, poorly-written stories when a writer assumes the reader is also a fan, prompting them to forego all that important character development and such that makes a story interesting. Much better to create your own characters, flesh them out, scars, warts and all, and then create your art around and about them.
Addendum: that being said, I'm not opposed to fan art of fetish-born characters and scenarios, such as SvenSvenson's Balloon Juice concept, heliumgirl's Lucy and other assorted characters and scribblings, Milkybody's cast of inflatable catgirls, or AirTankGirl's superhero alter ego.

That said, I don't really see the point of discussions like this because the list would include pretty much every attractive female character I've seen.

Whenever someone other than the character's creator makes art involving that character, the character is being used in a way that the original artist didn't intend. I can see why some people view fetish works of non-fetish characters as creepy. But in the end it's just another variant of fanart/fanfiction, ableit a bit far out there.
There's a good chunk of fanart, fetish and non, that I find creepy. That doesn't mean that people shouldn't make it.
As to the point of this: I think the intent of the post was bring attention to franchises that haven't gotten much attention from the inflation community. For example Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Pokemon, and One Piece have inspired a significant amount of inflation art. However, I'm not aware of any inflation art featuring characters from Ultima, Dragon Age, or Archer.
There's a "Danger Zone" joke in there somewhere, but I just can't seem to put it together right now.

I definitely agree, fire emblem girls would be fantastic in the lime light. (Cordelia, Tharja anyone?)
Also, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is highly underused, too.

Considering how Cordelia is my favorite option for my Avatar to marry, yes, I'd love to seen her blown up. XD I even filed a request with an artist that was accepting them for an inflated Cordelia! XP

Cordelia is the best looking. I'd also love to inflate Lissa (add a year or two onto her, whatever), Maribelle, and Anna! Boy, I'd love an inflation comic with these girls so much.

The word creepy has definitely gotten another another meaning if its creepy to use characters in a way they werent intended. What that even means is beyond me.

Well you know that show Totally Spies how they sometimes have those blow up suits? They sure do look so awesome like giant puffy snowsuits but they never stay inflated for more than a few seconds. :(
Maybe one of the story writers here could do a Totally Spies story where one or more keeps their suit inflated?
