Need fetish avice from inflatirs/inflatees like me

OK, I won't bore you, so I'll tell you all what's up with me, but you will all aready know anyway; I have a weight gain/inflation fetish, and I'm really mixed on it at the moment. It's ruining my life and i don't know what to do, and I'm a wreck.

I don't know how or why I have it, but I got it around 2 years ago; i just neglected it, hoping it would go away, but it didn't, and every now and again I tempt myself and watch videos and read stories about it. Here's the major problem; i don't know whether or not I want it.

On one hand, i absolutely hate it. I find it weird and disgusting, and i want to get help from a therapist to get rid of it as quick as I possibly can. i dislike it around 40% of the time, and the faster it goes, the better I'll feel.

HOWEVER, 60% of the time I love it, because no matter what I tell myself, I always go and watch it, and find sexual pleasure from it. It feels good to have something like this; it turns me on and I like it. I don't know how or why, but anything, from boueberry to hourglass inflation gives me a LOT of sexual pleasure. Full body is my favourite though.

But, I'm not sure if I want it to go away, along with keeping it and not being judged. it's weird as I'm I keep myself fit and try to be as healthy as possible, but I get sexual intrigue from body inflation and huge weight gain. I don't know whether or not I want to get rid of it. It's weird and I'm undecided on what I want.

I'm guessing asking a forum on the website if body inflation is going to be showing bias, but It would be MUCH APPRECIATED if you tell me weirder fetishes than body inflation, it'll make me fell less weirded out.

Should I keep my fetish and enjoy it, or do I try to get rid of it? If I get rid of it, I'll be happy, but that would make me asexual; If I keep it, I'm happy, just embarrassed and feel weird, but still happy, and hopefully I'd be able to find someone with the same fetish anyway. Thanks

I have no real input as to the keeping or not as that is a personal choice.

But I have yet to find weirder or creepier fetishes than many that exist on the net. You can find people with fetishes for all things down to scat, chairs, murder, amputation, balloons. There are hundreds if not thousands more weirder fetishes than weightgain and inflation.

Weightgain and inflation do have their darksides and their own creepy factor (not judging) depening on who is giving input.

But for me inflation fetish is mostly something light hearted and playful (and my girlfriend while not being into it herself is into the effect it has on me when she starts playing)

So while its up to you just keep in mind, there are many varieties of fetishes, ours is only a small smattering.

I used to feel embarassed and ashamed about my fetish. I finally worked up the courage to tell my girlfriend and it turned out that she had a fetish (not the same one) as well. I think that most people have weird kinks and it's never a good idea to repress them. Since I told my girlfriend I've never felt embarassed about it. It felt liberating to tell someone. My advice is: embrace it, find someone to share it with. No one is normal.

Well, here's some good news sparky, you don't really have a choice in it.  One cannot "get rid of" a fetish, it doesn't work that way.  You're going to have it, basically, for the rest of your life, you can be miserable or you can be happy.  Might as well enjoy it.

Okay, so you're feeling ashamed of your fetish - this is normal and something that probably every single one of us have been through.

Can I ask how old you are? I have had a fascination with body inflation for as long as I can remember (since early childhood, probably 6 or 7) - it became a sexual fetish and I've been living with it ever since - when I was about 17 or 18, I started exploring the fetishes a lot more and this led to a mix of 'fascination/pleasure' on one hand and 'shame/regret' on the other.

It took my a good ten years to come to terms with it - now I've completely accepted it and couldn't be happier.

The thing you have to realise with fetishes is that you cannot 'beat' them or 'get rid' of them - in fact, I eventually realised that the only time my fetishes actually caused me a problem was when I tried to fight them and tried to 'rid myself' of them. In short - you can't - you may as well accept them and you'll be a lot happier.

In terms of weirder fetishes, look up the term 'paraphilia' (which, in a nut shell, is a fetish that becomes extreme or obsessive) - Google a "list of paraphilias" (or check Wikipedia here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_paraphilias) and you will see many, many fetishes far weirder than body inflation.

To give you some comfort in terms of comparative weirdness, I have about 30 fetishes, including a fetish known as emetophilia - I get turned on by throwing up (hope that doesn't make you... y'know... throw up!)

I have no idea why I have emetophilia (in fact, bizarrely, I used to have emetophobia - a fear of throwing up).

Basically, if it's possible for anyone to have a fear of something (-phobia), it's also possible for anyone to be sexually aroused by the same thing (-philia).

(Fear of spiders, Arachnophobia, exists - so too does Arachnophilia!!!)

(In fact, if you look at that Wikipedia article above, it contains a quote from Anil Aggrawal who says "Like allergies, sexual arousal may occur from anything under the sun, including the sun".)

If you need anything else, just let me know!

Happy inflating!!

Same as Airtankgirl and George, as well as others ^_^ I only can add: Put guilt aside.

Sexual fetish is about sex. And sex knows no guilt. So if you want to have sex - and not just motions - you can't be guilty of what you are doing. So stop wondering "goodness me, what am I up to?.." and let your love and gratitude to the other person guide you.

As for our family, we're strictly imagining things. We never do them (while for me it's "she's so BIG" that works, for Maria it's "and now I go everywhere" - goes everywhere).

What you can do? Art! That's how "hey all i had a sleepless night and i wrote this" kind of stories are born. And those are some of the very best.

Oh one thing I wanted to hit on from the OP,  "it's weird as I'm I keep myself fit and try to be as healthy as possible, but I get sexual intrigue from body inflation..."

Yah, I get you, I'm sort of a gym rat myself.  Ask the people here that know me.  I workout (Running, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, yoga, kickboxing, judo, biking, weights and so on) I'm in excellent shape and yet I also have this ridiculous (but awesome) notion of blowing up like a balloon.

I don't really understand it, I just attribute being fit to my real life and being inflated to my secret fetish life. It's like having a secret identity :)
