Hi all!

I've been a lurker since like 2006 or something so.... Hi! hehe

I was thinking about the Amanda Show.

Do you guys remember that?

I remember a scene where (I think) it’s in a science classroom and a girl gets inflated with a helium tank. Really foggy memory as it was probably like 2002 or something.

I also remember a scene in one of the Carry on movies (British sexist movies about perverts) where they were on a cruise ship I think and a guy notices and piece of string hanging out of a woman’s coat. He pulls on the string and her boobs inflate. It turned out to be a life jacket.

One more memory.

A show called Revenge files of alister fury. I think the episode way called luck of the Irish and that had an inflation scene in it I think.

So, there is my contributions.

I hope you guys remember these or can hunt them down.

The male teacher inflates though. It is with helium, and in a science class, so that's probably it.

I may have the name of the movie you mention i call "carry on cruiser" i belive i am not sure where i can find it online but i sure someone will find it ;)

Thanks pballooned! My memory wasent as good as I thought. but... pretty close! hehe

Also, about the carry on scene. I found carry on cruising online but i couldn't find the scene. Maybe another carry on movie? Wish I knew xx

Inflation scenes?

Let me add my two pence - Nutcracker cartoon of 1973.

There are two inflation scenes in it.

One is when the king climbs on a chair and salts/peppers the Rat Queen. She takes out her handkerchief and tries to sneeze, all huffing and puffing, getting bigger and fuller, until she sneezes herself into nothingness.

And another one when her son, the Rat Prince - now Rat King - drops and breaks his crown. It makes him explode, and his while misty cloud makes other rats to sniff - and then huff and puff trying to sneeze. The look on their faces when they don't get it what's going on, but they really need to sneeze so they try harder - is priceless. And each time they are not strong enough and the actual sneeze pops them, releasing the same cloud... Until there's just one little mouse whose nose is itching too much, but it has seen what happened to the others so it runs around trying to pospone the sneeze. It runs into a tunnel, and then - huff-huff...huff... ... ... CHH - POP! - and a cloud drifts from the tunnel and dissipates.

I was three when I watched that cartoon for the first time. Beautiful music by the way. ^_^
