I cannot stress enough the importance of following the rules of prose.
Going to start writing inflation stories with my characters, any tips and suggestions?
In the coming weeks, if life allows me, I will start trying to write inflation fiction involving my own characters. So far I have only thought of one of these characters, a kitsune girl called Aisha. You can see pictures of her on my dA: http://drakonut.deviantart.com/
What I have in mind isn't a serious series of stories. I have lighthearted and comedic stories in mind, with kemonimini (animal ears, basically cat girls, fox girls etc.) characters as well as maybe some anthros (I am a bit of a furry).
For something like this, I feel I could do with some tips, especially since I haven't written a serious inflation story yet . I have limited experience (wrote a pretty terrible one a while ago, lost it however) but still relatively new to doing anything like this.
I may upload some stories exclusively for this site if I feel like it.
I cannot stress enough the importance of making sure the work is readable and flows well. Remember, too much detail kills more stories than not enough.
As with any writing, you should respect your readers. As stated above, write like this is serious stuff. Proper grammar and flow of a story is key. That said, don't be afraid to just jump in and write what you think is best. There is no guide on how to write this stuff, so finding your own way is part of the process. I am often afraid to write because I don't feel I convey the ideas well enough on the page. It takes a lot to push past that, and to do that, I often just have to write with reckless abandon, and edit later.
Hope this helped, and good luck!
Oops, almost forgot.
I have some experience writing, in fact it's something I really love doing if it wasn't for some unfortunate life circumstances preventing me from being productive. But I haven't ever written on a daily basis for more than a few days sadly, so I believe I need to start with something fairly short.
