Question can you make a full body inflation suit using inner tubes?

I have a question for the group. Can you make a full body inflation suit. By using 60" inner tubes? The first layer would be big enough for the person to wear. And its attached to a second layer 8 inches away. And the person would wear 6x clothes. I was wondering can it be made?

I would imagine, with a proper amount of material and a certain amount of engineering skill, it could be done. I'm not a suit inflator, so I can't help you there, but I'll point others in this direction. Best of luck.

Just a little more. You can take it...I hope...

As a make shift suit, it doesn't sound like a bad idea, though it can be a little tricky to make. I'd say if you could get an inflatable latex suit, go for that, but those cost a fair amount of money and that isnt what this topic is for.

A thing thats worth mentioning is that you'd have to inflate each ring seperately and that could take a while, and be a little tricky to do. That's not to say it cant be done, just that it's something to keep in mind.

(Not on here too often, replies might be slow.)

I was inspired to make a suit for a friend. The rings would be split in half. Then resealed from behind. Till you covered the whole body from the neck down what do think?
