Is there anyone who can make a small rubber latex inflatable suit, that would fit a small action figure or plush? I can tell sizes. Let me know. :)
Can someone make this for me?
I can't help but, I gotta say the thought of dressing an action figure with a small inflatable latex suit sounds hilarious.
I'm not much help either, but I'd be interested in knowing how someone would overcome the technical limitations of such a project. The first problem that comes to my mind is functionality in something so small. Can you get hoses small enough that can withstand that kind of pressure? Can you even get a pump small enough?
There aren't as many technical limitations as one might think. A few years ago when my sewing machine wasn't working, I switched to sheet latex and actually was able to make a double-layered inflatable suit for a 1/6th scale (12") female action figure that as of now can hold air and stay inflated for 1-2 weeks. The valve is just a standard Schrader tire valve and I just used the same electric air pump (the type used for filling air mattresses) that I use to inflate my rubber suit. Just don't use an air compressor, as that would more than likely pop the suit. Take a look around Lowe's or Home Depot for some of the hose fittings.
Hey booyajimmy can you make something like that for me?
Or anyone actually
Well, I know that blowup_boy works with building and designing inflatable latex suits (he runs Squeak Latex), but other than him, I'm not sure who else on the forums would be able to do that.
Also, not to detract from this site, but I think there's a few sites out there where you can commision people to make that. Etsy might have some people, and the Rubberist forums is a pretty large forum thats focused around rubber, so you might be able to find some things there as well.
(Not on here too often, replies might be slow.)
