Notes:
I don't like inflation...I don't find it sexy...I'm not a hater because people have their own fetishes and I don't judge...I pretty much just made this account to ask this question...
Hello...my name is Jeff(not really but that's my online alias)and I just came here to ask a simple question. you see...my friend likes inflation and I find it strange and I really don't understand why. I've asked him and all he has pretty much said was "it's hard to explain"
so can someone answer me...why do people find being blown up like a balloon sexy?

Its hard to narrow down this fetish. There are so many reasons why and how it starts for each individual, and each individual's vision of this fetish can vary drastically. At most, I can offer a psychological explanation based on personal history, but I believe I can offer something simpler as well.
For me personally, my finding of this kink came from something rather childish. When I was still just a kid, I admired my mother a great deal. She was an assertive woman that never backed down, stubborn as all hell. She had a commanding presense, something even a child could recognize without understanding. She also was a full figured woman. So, little ol' me thought it was the best idea to emulate my mother. A desire to emulate eventually turned into a desire to become better than once I grew into my teens. In my case, I dreamt of becoming bustier than her. This want spawned many confusing dreams and fantasies, but eventually lead me to the internet, and the rest is history. What started out as me wanting to grow larger breasts then became a desire to become bigger in every aspect, by whatever means.
The point of this story is that the attraction to this fetish can start young, and based on innocent means. Essentially my mind related size with something positive and powerful, and developed a thinking that more size must equal out to more power. Like other fetishes and kinks that get a thrill over being in control or having more power in certain situations, it can be thoroughly arousing to be in those positions.
On the flip side, from a fantasy stand point, body inflation is something very surreal. Fantasy fetishes relish in the impossible, gaining the escapist feel when they imagine something that otherwise can't happen. One's breasts simply do not bulge three cup sizes larger. One's belly does not simply blimp to the point where they start floating. Yet it is the thought, the imagery, of such that can arouse the inflationist. Sometimes, its not even about the size of the subject that is the turn on, its the act itself of growing in size, swelling in scale, filling out or even bursting out of clothes.
In essence, body inflation and all its sister fetishes(breast expansion, butt expansion, etc) all share fascination with the body. In some ways, our fetish is no differnent than, say, foot fetish. Where foot fetishists seek to touch, to lick, to adorn in footwhere, we seek to pump, to blow, and to expand. The medium from which we gain our satisfaction is different, but it serves the same purpose. We just take our admiration for the body into the world of fantasy, where it isn't bound by laws or otherwise restricting realities.
Life is always a bit better once you pop a few buttons.
