I have a fantasy of a group of inflatable people acting like suicide bombers, they inflate trapping a lot of people inside a building and then explode. Everyone in the area, that inhales the released gas will eventually turn into inflatable.
Good RP plot, I think.

The Cell scene is one of my absolute favorites! Getting bigger and bigger with an intent to go BOOM and cause some mayhem is the best way to go about growing.
I'd be up to RP or write something involving you in that same scenario.
I have in fact been working on a little sculpture of an explosive lady in Zbrush lately to teach myself how it works.

I'm thinking she has a pump system attached to her that when activated can't be turned off (of course.) It fills her with a volatile, expansive material that rubberizes her so she can stretch and stretch and stretch as she fills ever larger.
But she needs plenty of time to grow so she can swagger about and threaten to blow at any moment. So, in the event she grows large enough to run out of it, she can swap over to an air-powered system that will continue pumping her up BIGGER.
If anyone tampers with her, she need only bump the big switch on her belly and she'll grow even faster.

I actually had an idea but never really fleshed it out that was somewhat similar but she was more of a villainess that had a device inside of her that let her expand and explode at will, literally like a walking time bomb!

The at-will growth/popping aspect of this sort of expansion is the part I love and it definitely fits villains best I think. That's probably why I love the Cell growth scene as well as the Kablammus scene and the King Looney scenes so much. Everyone is growing out of control with an urge to get as big as possible and in some cases, explode.
I particularly think having devices, attachments, etc. that assist their increases in size and volatility adds to the characters both literally and figuratively.

It does, especially if it has explosive implications, like how with Cell his explosion would have literally destroyed the planet and he knew it!

I actually have a story idea for a villainess with exactly those powers. Meet...The Detonatrix. Cursed to continually reform after exploding lest it be permanent, she's forced to take to a life of crime as she frantically searches for a cure while Law Enforcement seeks to put and end to her evil ways. She can fly after a fashion, the more she eats, the bigger her explosion is, and the longer she puts off exploding it's both MUCH larger and it takes her longer to reform from it. Tragic villainess, indeed.
