Inflation

I have been trying food and water bloats and I am not getting the results I really want.

People have recommended that I do mentos and soda but I am worried about actually eating a mentos whole so I might consider buying mini ones unless consuming the mentos without swallowing it whole does the same effect but I'm not sure.

Any advice on how to inflate to that round, big firm gut?

Also, I bloat extremely easily and I can't inflate with a pump (unless there is a way from the mouth where I have the tube in and I pump air without necessarily shoving the tube down my throat).

All advice will be perfect! Thank you!

I have never tried it, but I don't see why you couldn't chew the Mentos once or twice (or bite/cut them in half) in order to make them easier to swallow.  The chemical reaction between Mentos and Diet Coke has to do with the coating on the outside of the Mentos.  I might be wrong, but I would imagine that the reaction would still happen even if the inside were exposed.

Also, as I understand it, you have to resist a pretty strong urge to throw up.

Mythbusters actually showed it's not a chemical reaction at all. It's a physics reaction. It occurs because the CO2 in the soda collects on rougher surfaces and forms bubbles quickly, compared to say the smooth inside of a soda bottle. The candy surface of a Mento, when looked at under a microscope, is full of pits and crags, making it extremely rough by a physical definition. Bubbles of CO2 get stuck int the pits and crags, and more bubbles get stuck to those bubbles, and soon you have a runaway reaction as the CO2 gas collects and violently pushes the rest of the soda out of its way.

Edit: So yes, chewing them (and thus breaking down the candy shell) would greatly reduce the reaction. That's why swallowing them whole works better, and even that (thanks to moisture and stomach acid) isn't as "intense" as dropping them dry into the bottle.

Fill 'er up!

The problem with doing mentos is that before it reaches your stomach something like 99% of that surface is gone due to saliva and being rubbed against the throat going down. Some people say to try swallowing with water then doing it immedietly but the problem still persists.

(Not on here too often, replies might be slow.)

From what I know, Coke will rest on top of stomach acid for a very short period of time before osmosis kicks into overdrive. Drink a lot of it and you might have long enough to drop down a pack of mentos, ready to pressurize on the inside of your gut

I might be a bit chubby now, but, ya see that hose over there?

You know what to do with it~
