Lost the title of a story.

There was a story in the story archive for the website that involved the crew of a ship attempting to pull one of there collegues off of a feeding tube type thing thats filling her up. I cannot recall the name of the story. I dont recall any popping ether.

Can anyone help? Does the story sound at all familiar?
