Optimal Swimsuit Inflation

I've been inflating clothes for a little bit now, and I think I have pretty decent ways to do it in a satisfying way. However, while I can do it well in a dress, I have some questions on how to do it with a swimsuit, either with stuffing or by using a hair dryer/Shop-Vac in reverse or a pool jet since I don't have a hot tub (might have more questions later).

Generally, can you get bigger than 12 inch balloons at a Walmart?

How large are the swimsuits I can get for under $50 without using online sources and without traveling past the local Walmart? What shape will a one piece swimsuit have if you inflate a Wubble or balloons under it? Is there an effective way to inflate a two piece swimsuit/bikini? If I'm going to use something that shoots water or air, how do I hold it in so I can keep the shape?

I'll share some of the lessons I've learned:

Hairdryer, bad.  Shop vac, good, but almost too much of a good thing.

Water is a rough gig.  It's surprisingly heavy, it's surprisingly cold and it just doesnt stay where you want it to.

If you are literally trying to inflate a swimsuit, you'll first have to get it wet.  If you are submerged, the air will rise to the portion of you that is closest to the surface.  Additionally, bathing suits can only take so much (less than you think) air pressure before the air seeps out through the material, do it's very difficult to get a swimsuit very big.

The shape a bathing suit will have if you inflate a balloon in it is it will be shaped like a bathing suit with a balloon in it.  Balloons are pretty unforgiving in their shape, so the bathing suit will have very little effect on it.  The larger the suit, the less effect.

Can you inflate a bikini?  Depends on the bikini and how generous the cut it.  The more generous the cut, the more room for air.

My experience, inflating clothing is a pain.  Inflating something under clothing is better.  What I usually do is use some sort of spandex bodysuit as a sort of "base".  Consider that the "skin", inflate it to the shape and size desired, and then if you wish, put other clothes on top of it.

You have some suspiciously limiting restrictions.  If you can navigate past them, you open up some more options.

Okay, thank you for all these tips! I'll hopefully remember to impliment most of these when I try them out tomorrow, and I might show my results to you all too. :) Follow up question though, how would I keep the air in if I were to use a reverse Shop-Vac?

Also be very careful when using hairdryers, you REALLY do not want to drop one into the water, you will kill yourself or at the very least seriously damage your health.

Yeah, I'll remember to do that. I probably won't use a hairdryer though, and even if I do, I probably won't mix it with the water. Do you have any tips you could trade?

Speaking from personal experience, balloons/beachballs/pillows/etc under an old swimsuit is good, but ATG is right...  A spandex bodysuit takes things to a much more satisfying level.

Where do you get them?

Fairlane

Apart from online shops and eBay, I've seen a few at the local Party City outlet. Not sure of the quality of them, however. One sneeze and they may go to shreds.

Alright. Got any more tips?

Large pantyhose like from Lane Bryant or Catherine's are great for inflating with baloons and such
