What sexually awakened you/got you into inflation?

Not sure. It was a mixture of loving to stuff myself with food, watching the classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (a bit of the new one as well), and finding some really quality artwork online from the furry fandom. Of course what really got me started was when I saw a show where a guy inflated himself for real, and then I tried that myself. Haven't looked back since.

For me, it was the violet inflation scene from the first Willy Wonka movie. I know, big surprise but I think a lot of us can relate to that particular scene as the spark for our fetish, even though I'm not into blueberry. I think I could go farther back but I can't remember much of anything except the animated series of Inspector Gadget, but I was too little to feel anything.

I was into The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog (I was 12), and I watched the well-known episode where Sonic and a friend inflate from being in a patch of itchy, body inflating flowers. Somehow, I found a YouTube video that focused only on the scenes where Sonic was blown up. As a kid, seeing characters inflate in kids TV shows was always weirdly fascinating for me, so I started binging on YouTube videos of scenes of cartoon characters inflating.  I started inflating for real within a month or two later :)

I don't recall what sexually awakened me, although it probably involved alcohol.

As for inflation, I'm an import.  I was brought into inflation by my college boyfriend/husband/ex-husband, and it stuck.

In the school playground when I was eight or nine, some girls were playing a game where one of them was pretending to pump the other one up with blood and the other one pretended she was inflating. This interested me and I used to imagine that I was being blown up with compressed air from a cylinder until I floated.  This idea fascinated me until one day when I was about eleven I orgasmed to it and realised it was sexual for me.  I only became aware of Violet Beauregarde later.

I was pretty young, definitely pre-teen, watching old Looney Toons cartoons on TV. Back when TV stations put the really old ones in afternoon syndication. (Yeah, I'm that old.) There was one where Porky Pig and Daffy Duck were chasing each other around in a hospital and ran headfirst into an iron lung machine and got stuck; the machine huffed and puffed and popped the characters out, to have their heads, hands, bodies and feet all alternately expanding and going back to normal, over and over, for a few seconds. Wierd as heck, but it just did something for me. Other cartoon inflations were similarly exciting to me. Oddly, the Violet blueberry scene never did much for me.

In my teens, I started noticing girls, especially ones with big boobs. Had a dream about girls with boobs that suddenly grew bigger and burst out of their clothes, and another with a girl who put a hose inside herself and we floated up in the air as she expanded. Woke up both times with crystal-clear memories of those dreams, and they definitely helped form my inflation / expansion interest.

For me it was Space Jam. When I was little my parents bought a copy of that film plus a shit ton of disney films and I remembered that I watched the inflation scene over and over again. Oddly enough I figured out how to masturbate at age 6 to that film.
