Hahaha. True
what shape has a inflated mermaid?
possibly tear shaped? like an actual balloon XD
From an outside observer's point of view, for those who are into this kind of inflation it seems that the inflatee's species/gender doesn't really matter as everyone and everything appears to default to (semi)spherical when fully inflated. Taking this into account and the fact that a mermaid has escentially the same body plan as a human, it's only logical that one would end up ball-shaped.
What?
This is actually a pretty neat question, It's just phrased a little weird. So, As Bodyinflation.org's only Monstergirl knowledge goddess, I'm pretty much obligated to post here.
If a mermaid was to inflate via like, air tank or whatever. Only the human half would inflate, Mostly because the fish half doesn't have a stomach.
Really, The only taur/half-and-half Monstergirls that would have both halves inflate that I can think of right now would be a Lamia and a Centaur, For obvious reasons. Wouldn't work with a Dryder because a spider's stomach isn't in it's abdomen, And all that hardened exoskeleton would be both a bitch to inflate out of, And would look very ugly.
spot on - on mermaid! ^_^
also, totally agree on spiders ^_^ spiders inflate ugly because they look into wrong direction and their legs walk upside down. it's like as if a human would have a head looking backwards and walk also backwards - looks disturbing, inflated or not.
If you correct nature's mistake and fix spiders right - so that their belly points forward, they have mouth and two eyes looking forward, and all legs also forward. Two legs could be bigger to walk on them while other legs are playing violin, shuffling half-eaten icecream and wiping the mouth with a napkin - then Miss Spider would walk, look and inflate also forward. Girls are cute, even if they are monstergirls ^_^
i think you're forgetting that spherical inflation is a fantasy
Oh shit you're right.
spherical is totally free range, Go wild. I really don't know what would happen there.
1. like a human
hourglass inflation is my fav, so if mermaid would blow up like blowfish (blowmaid?) i prefer it all go into front and back curves - as if she has hips pressed together. popping-wise - ocean's pressure keeps them safe, blowmaids never pop in the water, but can pop in alien medium - air - which doesn't render support
Hell yeah, we monstergirl conoisseurs are out here tryna push the boundaries of inflation discussion; but it's not as common in stories.
Yet, I guess one of my favorite stories does have to do with a mermaid subject and the human belly ends up inflated. http://bodyinflation.org/node/4412
It still doesn't seem to be clear-cut what counts as acceptable hybrid-human inflation content... I guess it all comes down the human parts being affected.
No mentions of pufferfish?
