I'd say somewhere between confused and horrified. What the movies like to refer to as 'mild peril'. Being inflated is seen as a bad thing, but too much terror and it will become a bit of a turn-off to me.

I think it would be a very natural thing for someone to be pretty horrified about what is happening to them and also the fear that they will inflate too huge and explode is very natural, However inflation reactions can also range from someone being annoyed that they were inflated to sexually turned on.

Seconded.  WHat I like is confused that turns into...well, not terror, but alarm instead, followed by an 'oh shi--' moment.

Reckless abandon.

It'd be the natural response to be totally fucking horrified, But they're all good choices.

you really get to the root of it - great question!

my personal tastes are tied to our family RPs - that's why amusement and arousal fits best. Whatever exact reaction, it is always relaxed and mostly with humour

although in stories where inflation has never been heard of before, and author hand-picks an unusual group of heroes who make their Last Stand in the face of the Unknown - it perfectly makes sense to be scared ^_^

It was a hard choice cause they all are great but I did confused cause I like the look on the face of someone who is confused as they inflate

BustyBaby

Confused when it begins, amused during the process and horrified a bit when your skin begin to creak giving up under pressure . Something like that.

i would never want someone to be horrified and begging for help... disgusting.

Begging for help in front swell, overfilling opponent in overtime and bursting in homestretch? The fans who came all the way from Europe to greet the swell were horrified. The scraps, uneven and inadequate were unpresentable even at an ironic popping party. Worst pop ever.

Disgusting!

If voluntary - either turned on or prided (in case of the good ol' "Frog and Ox" scenario especially).

If involuntary - confused, maybe with a flair of fear. "Mild peril", as carnatic said.

I believe it's possible to experience all of the above reactions, but as long they enjoy it in the end without fear of popping, then I'm happy.

Confused at first, then amused and turned on

For me, I'd say the reaction would depend on the context of the story. Confusion of course would be where it starts. If the character is unexpecting or caught off-guard, I'd imagine terror and panic would be the norms, regardless of whether or not they have an inflation fetish. Even if you are into feet, you'd still be a little freaked out if some random stranger wallked up and started giving you a footjob.

A character setting out with the intention to inflate would likewise be thrilled/aroused by the situation.

This sums it up for me.  Although part of me always likes it when an inflatee enjoys being inflated, it doesn't always fit the story.  This is why in many of my recent stories the characters know that inflation is possible.  That way it's easier for them to enjoy it.

Now that I think about it, many of my favorite stories depict the inflatee as being conflicted between finding inflation both enjoyable/arousing and frustrating.  Kind of like eating too much pizza or ice cream - you know you're going to regret it later, but for now you're going to enjoy it for what it's worth.
