A book on body inflation.
How about writing a book once?
Depends on what the author's goal is. If someone is looking for widespread success and acclaim, yeah, probably not going to happen and no publisher would touch it. But anyone can write a book and self-publish it on Amazon/Kindle.
you know what? I actually have a body/blueberry inflation book still in the making. I made a real life replica of the concept design too XD Its supposed to be about 40 to 60 short stories about a woman as she slowly becomes accustomed to the idea of blowing up like a balloon. The main character goes through all kinds of scenarios relating to inflation, and all that I need to do is actually get to work on it.
I wrote one and published it privately (didn't bother to approach publishers because it's not going to happen) around five years ago, as an ebook. Doing a print book would mean people who are embarrassed about having this fetish probably wouldn't buy it or would hide it, so I wouldn't do that.
Elaborate please.
I'm surprised people don't remember this. It's a collection of short pieces, including the stories on here and dA, plus some exclusive to the book itself so that I didn't feel I was just selling people stuff they could read for free. There are also some RP scripts in it and some non-fiction pieces, including safety tips and practical advice for self-inflation, speculations on the psychology of why we're into this and an analysis of the ethics. It's called 'Are Women Balloons?' and I think I charged about three quid for it.

@AirPump
very true! I'd also like to hear more from Kamensy ^_^ He probably means something like "What if we write the first inflation book?"

a phrase about 3 pounds = 6-7 dollars brings fond memories, but book itself isn't available anymore on Lulu. It would be fun to look at it/purchase it if it's not a big hassle ^_^
I wrote one and you can find it in the writers den, but yeah you can do it. I would read it.
The only reason I don't want to give it away for free is that it wouldn't be fair on the people who paid for it, but I'm happy to send people PDFs if they PayPal me in advance £3 or the equivalent - zerothly@gmail.com .
All I can say, to anyone thinking the same thing, is good luck finding a publisher. Often times before signing off on a manuscript, a company needs to be sure that the book will actually sell. Considering how niche of an audience that would be, chances would be slim. Securing bookstores that would carry it is another problem.
I guess it wouldn't be an impossible feat to have inflation in literature; the most mainstream example I can think of is Aunt Marge in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter, but to have an entire work feature around it is asking a lot.
EDIT: Actually, I don't know if you meant "on" body inflation like it was in the form of a manual, a history volume, or just explanation of it in general. I think the same rule applies. Whether for entertainment or information, the subject matter is pretty much the bottom line.
Check out my stories that I've written...!
