So, seeing as this place seems a little bit dead I thought I'd share a thing I came across. It might not be entirely relevant to everyones tastes.
Sasha Frolova, the gorgeous and wondefully talented actress, model and artist appears to be part of an art/ music show which features her performing in latex suits. While the inflatable parts have only really been limited to props and her wide assorment of "wigs". I'm sure its all probably a commentary on society being strange and plastic but it results in such outrageousness as this-

For the truly strange you can look up music videos of the outfit "Aquaaerobika" which features her with her weird balloon band mates. She also appears to have inflatable sculptures in installations, something I wish I could do at some point. Anyhow, I really love the creative designs and bold colours and I hope you like them too.
Also, a special mention to Saeborg, a Japanese artist who has also done some really funky things with art displays and costumes.
I hope to see more portrayals of these strange and pretty balloon worlds in the future.
curious, thanks for sharing!

"it's aerobics for soul and heart for the viewer. I'd like to create a universal image of a woman. You look at her and you don't understand - is she from Space or neighbourhood, an object or a person. So that viewer learns to imagine, and to generate assosiations.
Like all creative people I have creative and sexual channels intertwined, just somebody feels it and somebody skips it. I like everything inflatible, don't know why. There's been a project near Eiffel Tower in 1960-s: to launch shiny balloons into space so that they form bright constellation in orbit and reflect sunshine. Centre Pompidou used to have a large exposition of inflatable art in 2005, it impressed me greatly. I also like Yayoi Kusama's drawings of balloons, inflatible "Celebration" series of ingenious Jeff Koons..."
