AR inflation?

New ARKit demo apps preview hair coloring, and a fun way to leave messages for kids

I wonder if there are any coders working on AR (augmented reality) inflation? The demo videos in the article show changing hair color, recording audio "in 3D" space, and photogrammetry modeling. Now imagine an inflation app that will motion track an inflating body, or BE or whatever floats your beach ball. Such an app could sink Taylormade and other creators, as users watch their favorite celebrities blow up on TV through their smartphones.

Sorry, double post

It might be possible; the only thing would be what would they track? The stomach is pretty featureless, although I guess you could go off of the belly button.

Should be simple if we're going to have inflation.  Just put on a patch with a QR code or something written on it, then the AR headset could track that.

Well needless to say if real time hair color change is here that means the tech to make real time "blueberry skin change" ala 2005 Violet is here too already. By 2030 I'm pretty sure our need for the TMCs and BUGs of the world will be in the past.

Thanks Based God Tim Cook.

Also I must say hot fucking damn is the girl in that video hot. As the legendary Inspector once said, "Wowzers!"

...Or maybe clip creators will use this technology

With the way technology is progressing, We should get these before the machines take over.

The future is bright, Folks.

It would be fun to design an app for imaginary world, the kind of AR interface imaginary people use for personal inflation

Device could be any at hand - for example, Google Glass. But you'll have to own a device for debugging purposes and it will involve iterations on your or my cloud until everything works
