Bleh. Sometimes they're okay, But most of the time it's just bleh.

What is a 'stretch mark' ?

nineteenthly

They're like the wrinkles you get when a balloon is deflated, and also "thin" areas of skin due to distension for whatever reason.

Example:

Stretch marks in Addison's Disease:

The answer is that I sometimes do but there can also be very unsightly ones.

I Do LOVE areas of increased translucency

and No to wrinkles! ^_^ (although beauty's in balloon's heart)

No worries xx.

I generally like them as well but there was one photo I saw which was really off-putting to me.  Don't worry, I won't share it.

Also, you made me think of an inflation scenario where someone loses her wrinkles through inflation.

Depends on the context. I don't like them in general, but they're kinda fun as warning sign for Look out, she's going to explode!™

Side note: best as I've been able to determine, in inflation fiction "stretch marks" is the phrase that most reliably predicts that somebody's about to go boom.

They're great in an inflation-themed story.  IRL I ignore them.
