How do I tell my girlfriend?

So I have been in a relationship with my gf for about 5 months now.

This all started last week when my gf had a teambuilding day with her team at work. They played soccer in inflatable halloween sumo costumes and she sent me a photo of her look. Now you should know I’m totally not into big women at all, and my girlfriend is very skinny and just my type, but seeing her in that costume really turned me on for some reason and I don’t know why. It just looks like she’s very comfortable, it’s hard to explain, as all of you may understand. I did some research and I realized that I'm specifically into the cheap inflatable halloween costumes like the ones she wore, not latex suits or the big padded wrestling suits.

Now she has the costume at home and but I’m too scared to ask her to put it on, even if it’s as a joke, because I’ll get aroused and really nervous. I’ve looked at the photo a lot since she’s sent it and it’s really bothering me how much I’ve been into it. I just think it’s a really weird and shameful kink to have and I’m afraid she’ll think I’m a freak and break up with me. Maybe it’s also too early to tell her this right now since I’ve only just discovered this kink and we’ve only been together for 5 months?

I dont know if your into body inflation or only suites, but it is who you are. If your girlfriend wants you, she wants you how you are.

When i tolled my ex-girlfriend about it i was just honnest and open about it. She fully respected it but at first she found it a bit weird, but days later she played with it really well.

I will give you 2 small tips if you want to tell her. Tip 1: tell her before she finds out herself (she would not understand without you explaining it). Tip 2: if she dont like it, dont force her into it.

Meby you can start off by just telling she looks cute in the photo, and if she start asking question you can explain.

I agree with Firnov; open it up with a complement regarding how she looks in the outfit. Maybe something like; "Y'know even if your big like that; you'd still look cute or beautiful." or something. Truth be told; they'll probably find it really weird once you tell them, just don't push it too much. Just keep it as a little side thing and thats it.

Hell maybe she has some creepy weird fetish like inflation and she'll share her fetish with you.

I disagree. If they are gonna flee they are gonna flee. If its important to you then why not get it over and done with? That way you can either enjoy it or move on and find someone who is willing to play.

Gotta approach it like anything else, you don't run up and ask to knock boots, you have to segue when the time is right. A good place to start is to actually make sure youre in a relationship or at least mutually aware of what you both want. But if you have confidence and accept what you like your partner will pick up on that and find it more reasonable, dont go the route of shame, it will make you feel bad for pushing, it will make them feel uncomfortable. Cant explain it perfectly but its like asking for anything else in a relationship, you have to be willing to get burned and you have to know your value when asking for something, so you better make them happy if you are gonna ask for a "special favor", it definitely helps. Ive been pleasently surprised with some reactions ive gotten and pretty dissapointed with others, you just cant know until its out there even if you think youve read them really well.
