I'm torn between being disappointed at the idea and being amused at it.
Do you think they're going to avoid having Elastigirl inflate in Incredibles 2 because they know about us?
I dont think they are gonna boycot a inflation scene because of a small fetish. Remember, for most people inflation aint porn.
If they were bothered about creating fetish fuel then I think they have stopped creating anthro characters long ago.
OH my god, THIS.
No.
She's a girl, of course they'll find some excuse to make a random male inflate instead lol.
ROFLMAO!!!
god i hope not.
I highly, highly, highly doubt that. Everything is a fetish pretty much, including super stretchy body parts. There are entire communities based around people who stretch really, really far. They would basically have to change her entire character if they don’t want to appeal to any fetishes.
I dont think there will be an inflation scene regardless, but if elastigirl can stretch and change shape, swelling up is an ability she is capable of. Heck, there was a game on the Game Boy Advance that has a move where she uses her swelling butt.
Disney has a fetish for every movie they've made XD furries, giantess, shrinking, transformation, vanilla, necro, mermaids, cars, planes, witchcraft, etc. If Disney was so afraid of catering to fetishes, they wouldnt even be making movies.
The question is would Roald Dahl have changed Violets fate should he have known the impact it had on us...?
I think Roald Dahl was one of us.
Almost every one of his stories features inflation, balloons, helium or floating. I think his stories were the only outlet for him in postwar, pre-internet England.
I only remember one other book of his that had floating involved, but that's it (BFG is the book I was mentioning for anyone curious). I don't remember much of his other works, so I may need to do a search for more inflation works of his XD
Because of us? No. But that doesn't mean they won't still do it, Y'know.
They put an inflation scene in Despicable Me 3 "knowing about us" so I'd say no.
But was it a female? That's the question. Animation studios have no problems inflating males cause "it's funnier" I guess.
I honestly doubt they'd care. There are people who probably get off on Disney/Pixar stuff in general and they still continue making movies anyway.
