Official "FWOOMPH!" Suit Thread

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here goes anyway, i was wondering what kinds of features the suit would have for the "feel" of blowing up, i've heard of other suits pushing against you to make you feel like your getting bigger, and i was wondering what kind of features this suit would bring to the table opposed to that.

It makes you wonder if someone got seriously injured in it or something. 

I’m glad I’m not the only one that found the circumstances of the project’s cancellation a bit odd. It disappeared very quickly and the tone of Mix’s rather short replies just seem to scream out some sort of ‘negative incident’ preceded, and caused, the project to be ended. None of my business really and it’s not like he owed us anything, but I’m sure I wasn’t the only one left really disappointed that one day it was going to be the best thing ever and the next day it was gone without any proper explanation. Hope the guy is okay and it was nothing serious, but the way it ended just seemed very odd.

Hello all, how have you been?

I would first like to thank Maxgrowth and Dewj, for all the encouragement they have offered me in my endeavors and for posting this announcement (or diatribe, depending on one's perspective) of my behalf. I would have posted it on my own accord, but the site system seems to be a bit slow on the uptick, something got lost in cyberspace, or simply Luther does not wish me to be part of the discussions on his forums, I am unsure. If you care to know, I've been doing okay myself, keeping busy with various projects, catching up on reading, and my day job. I've also been asking myself a lot of questions. If you are still lurking this thread months after the event of my hasty and sudden departure, you may be asking some questions as well: "What happened to the suit? Where did you go? What gives???" Well, pop a squat and I'll tell you all about it.

When I first created the suit, it was half as doing a service to Maxgrowth Productions to help their director in his endeavors and the other half was a curiosity to me, "Would it work?" When I finally managed to get it all together and sorted most of the kinks out (pun intended), it turns out, it worked! It can roll, its able to support a tested 300 lbs, its huge to the point it renders the wearer immobile, and relatively easy to repair. 

Then, like a dumbass, I set up a ramp over Sea World, jumped the shark, and thankfully, landed softly in a gift shop stuffed animal display. I promised something that people were excited for and I could not deliver on due to level of involvement pertaining to the logistics of making the product, and for that I apologize. It turns out that finding qualified individuals in certain crafts are difficult to come by these days in the US and I refuse to outsource to foreign manufacturers. The person I had create the first suit, Maxgrowth's costumer (hooray Jeanie!), decided to further her career and I don't blame her one bit for doing so. Hell, I encouraged her and would do so again.

So that's one reason, I could not efficiently staff production. Another reason and more of just a personal reason, is that once the suit got to a certain point and the concept was proven, I began to lose interest. Like being shown how a magic trick is performed, its a bit less impressive after you know exactly how the trick is performed and I got bored and tired of throwing money at the project perfecting it down to the last nut and bolt.

A third reason and perhaps a larger contributing factor to my absense, I put upon a highly vocal minority within this community. In chat rooms, here, and posts elsewhere, I have fielded many a controversial statement from time to time, some that one would find inncouous, some indifferent, while others would find them completely abhorrent. I frankly dont care for their sentiments, and they dont care for mine, simply-put. I am not here to start arguing politics, start a flame war, or pontificate on a multitude of other topics that don't belong here. If you are curious as to some of these statements, ask around, I'm sure there's a screenshot or two floating around.

At this point, I started to ask myself some important questions: "Is this really how you want to spend your finite time on this planet, trying to appease people that dont much care for you and vice versa? Do you need the money that bad? Do you want to deal with any hobknobbery that may occur if you decide to make a second attempt at leaping the aquatic carnivore except this time having more realistic expectations and better trajectory? What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?"

Taking all of this into account and thinking about it for a half a second, I came to the conclusion of "No, that sounds like a load of old wank and I could be doing other things with my time" Then I got an email alert from a burner account stating that they would post my personal information if I kept antagonizing and proceeding with my plans, further solidifying my position of "Oh well, fuck that." I'm not so much worried that they could make me lose my actual job, but it just doesn't seem worth the hassle of potentially recieving any unwanted packages or visitors. Not really even sure if the claim was completely unfounded, but nonetheless, its just another thing I'd rather not have to deal with.

And lastly, more of a personal epiphany than anything, is that paying attention to all of this wasn't really bringing me any sort of happiness anymore. The empty, unsubstaintial interactions with strangers where I often have little in common outside of this fetish, people I'll never personally meet and some I dont wish to meet, the porn, the drama, I grew sick of it all. I realized something I should have realized a long time ago, that the amount of time I was devoting to a single, relatively insignificant facet of myself, was much overdue for a reconsideration as how important it really was to me. In short, my fetish needed to be put in its place, and that is exactly what was done. 

So, if you're still reading this text wall at this point, I'm legitimately impressed you managed to get through it without your brain going into a coma from my ramblings, so as your reward for being so diligent, you will be the keepers of my secret. I am still selling the suit, to you. To ALL of you, no matter if you cant stand me, think I'm awesome, dont give a shit either way, or are even a dirty commie, you will all have an opportunity to make one or have someone else make you one of your very own.
