So I was talking with a friend of mine, and I joke about this idea for a Calvin Klein commercial, and the idea was apparently so good that I have actually typed out a possible pitch for it.
I don't plan to make this a real advertisement anytime soon, but I wanted to hear what anyone else thinks of the idea. To repeat, I'm only sharing the idea because I thought it was funny.
The ad begins with 2 people on screen. It could be a man and woman, or 2 of the same sex, but the idea is these 2 individuals are on screen to showcase the flexibility and comfort of Calvin Klein brand underwear. The two people are handed a pill each, and after swallowing it, they start to expand, growing just big enough to tear through their outfits. The ad continues talking about how Calvin Klein's stay on and stay strong even in the most extreme cases.
They'd even go on and talk trash at other brands, and as they do so, a person's Fruit of the Loom brand garments rip off, and a shred flies on screen. The spokesperson casually kicks the remains to the other side of the screen, and the slogan plays, ending with the 2 experimentees gawking at their large and round bodies.
If anyone has other funny ideas for ads, I'd love to hear it!
