The "Octummber" 2019 Collection

In late September, I came across a list of one-word prompts playing off of the Inktober drawing challenge.

Being no artist, I thought fuck that and tried it out with writing about a handful of different fetishes like inflation, averaging about 1,000 words for as many prompts as I could. As far as I know, I don’t think I saw other folks trying to tackle these through literature, but as someone who’s only published about eight works, I decided on the night of September 30th to lock myself into a routine and crank these out. This particular month wound up multiplying my productivity overall and was good practice in character building and storytelling (this month I wrote 23,318 words; all my inflation literature over 4 years totaled 29,894 words).

Not all these vignette-length pieces are homeruns, and I didn’t want to overstuff the Library on the website by uploading them all (including clogging up the review process). All the links below go to uploads in my DeviantArt Scraps gallery, so you can leave comments here or there. I may revisit a few of these down the line and flesh them out substantially to the point I could call them short stories. Let me know how I did.

Day 2: Factory – Blueberry expansion, my first published foray with it, actually. It of course plays off of Wonka.

Day 5: Creaking – Magical air-based inflation, clean popping. A forest witch ties up an innocent forest denizen for a little fun. My personal favorite by a mile for its intensity. If there’s any story on this list you should glance at, it’s this.

Day 10: Slime – Slime expansion, and it kiiind of straddles the line with vore?—which may make some turn up their nose at it. A thief made of jelly pretty much hides in a woman’s stomach.

Day 14: Hose – Water inflation, more along the lines of absorption—after all, it features a plantgirl from my second story, Out of Drought.

Day 26: Bed – Air inflation, with a female turning her lady friend into a mattress for the night. Has a pretty sweet relationship and tosses in some post-drinking tipsiness.

Day 27: Buttons – Water inflation, where a fairgoer plays a game with her tightening shirt to win a stuffed bear.

Day 31: Pumpkins – You can guess; pumpkin-based expansion, with a messy explosion of gourd guts. A cursed garden transforms a lost woman into a big orange globe.

Thanks for giving them a read.

Respect.  I've always wanted to force myself to write everyday for a month or so, but I've never been not-lazy enough.  There's some good stuff there.
