No, good first question though!
Situation Game 2: What Happened?
Hello!
I've been asked to host this second situation game. It was great last time, and I hope everyone enjoys!
Rules are simple: together we discover what happened by asking simple questions and receiving answers in either "yes" or "no" or "not applicable/doesn't matter"
Post your questions, ladies and gentlemen
Situation: A young woman went to a party with her friends. By the end she was carried out and had inflated. She never had been inflated before.
What happened?
Her friends inflated her
No
Had she ever been to a party before, especially with these friends?
Yes
Did she drink something that made her inflate ?
No
was she "carried out" on string, like a balloon?
Yes
Rephrasing with all we know: A young woman who never inflated before went to a party with her friends. She was inflated on that party by other folks/means. By the end she was carried out on a string like a balloon by same friends who accompanied her in.
by the end of the party?
is it helium inside our gorgeous balloon girl?
did her friends accompanying her in and out also inflate on this party?
Yes to the rephrase
Yes, she was inflated by the end of thr party
Yes, she's full of helium
And no, just her
well I don't mean to solve it all by myself, don't expect me write here often, this is mostly for the other folks on the forum haha ^_^
let's see
A young woman who never inflated before went to a party with her friends. She was inflated full of helium by the end of that party and floated upwards tied to a string like a balloon. By the end she was with due care carried out on that string by same friends who accompanied her in.
hmm
Do these friends spend daytime together often?
Was it a graduation party?
Was party related to studies?
Was party related to work?
And - personally, I'm more comfy with "a lady" having a name. Your pick
Cheers, folks, please take part ^_^
They do spend their daytime together.
To answer the party questions together, it was just a party for the fun of it, no special reason.
And since you asked, I guess we can try the name Valerie.
Hmm...is Valerie the shy type? Did her friends inflate her to try getting her out of her shell?
No, she's not shy, so that's not why.
Valerie never inflated before. She went to a party with her long time friends. She was inflated full of helium by the end of that party and floated upwards tied to a string like a balloon. By the end she was with due care carried out on that string by same friends who accompanied her in.
- was Valeries filled with the aid of something solid?
- was Valeries filled with the aid of something liquid?
- was Valeries filled with the aid of something gaseous?
sorry for typos! ^_^
To answer that question I'll release the information of how she inflated, since it was a combination of some of those, and also kind of not. She inflated from a couple compressed helium pellets. And Valerie took them along with beer. The drink didn't change what she took, but the hopefully the detail helps.
oh wow, Valerie drinks beer? I hope, she doesn't drink much, does she? ^_^
So...
Valerie never inflated before. She went to a party with her long time friends. She was drinking beer and snacking with a couple of compressed helium pellets. She was inflated full of helium by the end of that party and floated upwards tied to a string like a balloon. By the end she was with due care carried out on that string by same friends who accompanied her in.
Was beer inflating Valerie?
Was Valerie inflating Valerie, not instrumentally, via some actions?
Was there something, that inflated Valerie, apart from beer, compressed helium pellets and her own efforts?
The beer was just normal beer. Just has the normal effects of beer. Aside from the compressed helium pellets, nothing else inflated Valerie. The only action she did was swallow them.
Did one of these friends think she needed to "lighten up a bit" and thought to make the joke literal by slipping the pills into her beer?
No, though that would be a shock as a joke to suddenly be inflating. The pills were not slipped to her.
Does beer amplify potency of helium pellet?
Do Valerie's attire change the effect of helium pellet?
Does Valerie wear any items assisting, protecting or otherwise helping her while she's full of helium?
Is swallowing helium pellets a part of some quiz, test, ceremony, game, other event rather than just a party?
How many pellets did Valerie consume? Was it 1, 2, 3, ... ?
The beer did not affect the helium pellets themselves.
Her attire did nothing to the helium pellets.
She was not wearing anything to assist her.
Swallowing the pellets wasn't for some sort of planned event. It could be considered a form of game though.
3 pellets.
What game was it? Fants? Card game? Dice game? Word game? Logical game? Role-playing game? Active sports game? Tabletop? ...
How many times Valerie lost and won? One? Two? Three? Four? Five? ...
It was a classic party game, and Valerie never lost. It isn't a game you can truly win, and losing would have in fact prevented her inflation. And she was the only one inflated, and others also did not lose. I would name the game, but it would be a little too obvious for the why.
Did the game involve voting somehow linked to deciding whom to inflate?
Indecent question, apologies - how old is Valerie, if I may? 18? 19? 20? 21? ...
How Valerie is dressed? Jeans, pants, skirt, dress, ... ? Shirt, blouse, sweater, coat, ... ? Heels, boots, snickers, shoes, ...?
What is her haircut? Blunt bob? Short with long bangs? Modern mullet? Long pixie? ... https://www.purewow.com/beauty/best-haircuts-for-women
The game did not decide who to inflate.
Valerie is 21, she came to the party in a blouse and jeans, and her haircut is long with short bangs.
What actions did they perform during this classic party game?
Were they dancing? Were they signing? Were they talking? Were they shouting? Were they pointing fingers? Were they guessing something? ...
There were many different actions. But it wasn't guessing or signing. There was a lot of talking though.
Were they playing truth or dare?
They were indeed playing truth or dare.
Bobbo64, a box of sweets is on me, thank you bro
Was Valerie's dare - to consume a helium pellet?
Yes, it was to consume the pellets. And yes, she was told what would happen to her.
Did anyone else in the group have some special occasion on the day of the party or around it?
No, but I'm thinking enough has been revealed by now to do a full reveal of the situation.
The motive is still unclear ^_^ is "why would they play truth or dare with helium pellets" a part of the riddle?
True, I guess that's the next thing. Why would someone bring helium pellets to a party and then use them in truth or dare. And just in case, Valerie did not bring the pellets herself.
Was it kind of revenge from one of her friend?
No, it was not.
All right, math time ^_^
How many friends did Valerie come with? 1? 2? 3? ...
How many other people were already at the party when Valerie joined? 20? 25? 30?
How many people there were on the party at the time when Valerie on a string drifted outdoors? 20? 25? 30?
How many helium pellets were at the party, at its start, end and when Valerie&friends joined the fun?
Valerie came with a group of 5 friends.
Around 4 people were there when Valerie arrived, though a total of 36 were at the party in total over the course of the night.
When Valerie was carried out there were 7 people left.
There were 4 helium pellets at the party in total. 0 when it began 4 when they arrived and joined, and 0 after they left.
Valerie only took 2 pellets.
Is it a habit of the area to casually inflate on parties?
Were there professional inflationists on the party?
Were there people on the party who used to make practical jokes on unexpecting others?
Was there an intention to pop that luckily didn't work?
No, no, no, and no. Though all very good questions.
Are helium pellets used on living subjects in that area? On people?
Was inflating something that she knew could happen before she went?
