I need help with Wetsuit inflation

Hey guys, so I have come into possession of a surfing wetsuit IRL. I was fortunate not to have to pay for it and it happens to be my size. It has detached sleeves, (kinda weird design.)

My question is if anyone has any ideas of how to make this suit it possible, useful as an iflation suit. Have heard ov time ogf people doing this and was hoping to get some insight.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only way you could inflate a wetsuit is by sealing the ankles and wrists. It wouldn't exert any pressure on you like a double layered suit would though

I think TMoS is correct...for a wetsuit to retain anything, the wrists, ankles and neck would have to be sealed (and likely the zipper). Since a wetsuit was never designed to absolutely keep anything out (i.e., water), it is not exactly designed to keep anything in, unlike a drysuit.  It doesn't mean that it ins't worth a try...first thought goes to duct tape although its adhesive is kinda rough on the skin. Also, I'm not sure how powerful an air pump you might need to make this happen.

A wetsuit does have a neoprene build going for it, so hopefully it can stretch quite a bit. Perhaps as an initial test before moving on to more elborate set-ups, something inflatable placed inside the wetsuit, located over your stomach/abdomen/torso. I'm talking something big, that can rightly fill you out. The wetsuit should give a much better appearance of your body inflating than a lot of things.

Hardly the end-game answer you were looking for, but maybe an acceptable first step.

This is the reason I found a lot of good results when searching for "wetsuit inflation".
People still don't know the difference xD

That suit won't hold air. Your best bet is to put something like a huge balloon, or something inflatable, under the suit and pump it up.
