The meteor was gone along with the mysterious pink light that had drastically compromised the space station. Moments later, the systems were back online, resuming their normal functions. The gravity kicked in, allowing the inflated females aboard to slowly descend onto the floor. For a moment, it seemed as though matters were winding down but the echoing prevalence of pneumatic sounds indicated otherwise. The swollen astronauts sprawled out on the observation deck noticed that, instead of deflating, they were still experiencing the effects of the bygone cosmic bolide. Their pudgy, bloated limbs were dwindling away as their bodies became bigger and rounder, having gotten so huge that the three of them now occupied most of the room. But the larger they got, the more their fears and doubts began to wane, replaced with a newfound yearning to reach greater sizes, to feel more of the enticing tension bellowing throughout them.
“This is amazing!”, one of the women exclaimed. “We really are turning into balloons.”
“I hope we keep inflating” another spoke. “I want to be gigantic.”
The room’s metallic walls started to creak as the trio of swelling astronauts gradually filled up the interior, accompanied by rubber-like squeaks once their blue-clad, blimping bodies began pressing against one another, competing for space in the newly-cramped quarters they gleefully grew in. There were no signs of it stopping. The outcome was uncertain but the space explorers had a new mission to pursue, a common goal:
To boldly grow where no woman had ballooned before.
A number of abnormalities took place when a strange, pink meteor sailed past the space station, illuminating the interior of the craft with it’s blinding, otherworldly glow. The lights flickered, the dials were fluctuating and the artificial gravity shut off, causing the three female astronauts aboard to drift off the floor. But the oddities wouldn’t end there. The women were overcome with a strange sensation, their skin tingling and unusual hissing sounds emitting from their abdomens. They could feel the air pressure rising within themselves as they floated through the room. One of the them gasped upon seeing her own chest expand, right before her disbelieving eyes. Looking past that, she discovered her stomach and thighs beginning to bulge out as well. The other two watched their colleague swell with surreal astonishment but soon diverted their attention when they noticed a similar phenomenon happening to them.
“Look at us!”, one of the astronauts cried out. “We’re puffing up!”
The three continued to inflate to greater sizes, their arms and legs spreading out and plumping away with the rest of their curvaceous forms. Their jumpsuits, snug as they were, somehow managed to capably cover the ballooning women with no signs of wear or tear. Perhaps their clothing had also been affected by the space rock.
