Female Inflation

"Ugh... My head... W-Where am I?" I look around the area to see myself strapped to a chair. In an empty room.

*SLAM*

A door was closed. Did someone leave? Did someone enter?

"You're awake." This made me jump. I turned my head to see who said that. A skinny looking teenager in a winter coat.

Wait... Isn't it summer? Yeah. It's summer... Right? Weird... Wait... Who am i captured by? I should take a look at his face. Oh... He looks around... 30.

"Eat it," He gave me a piece of gum.

   No one had anticipated their arrival, and no one moved quickly enough to stop it. "They" had descended onto earth and, without a word, began dismantling every military on Earth. Those who resisted or attacked were vaporized. The alien things looked like car-sized stars, floating steadily on their obtuse bodies. All humans had come to let the creatures alone, all but one, one woman who was determined to find every weapon still available and use them in an often dreamed-of war.

The water churned and bubbled in the afternoon sunlight. The jets set to a gentle cycle making the water froth like a stormy sea. 

Theresa smiled down at her birthday gift from Chris. He had bought the hot tub two days before and had the store get it installed as a surprise while she was out getting a massage. Also a gift from her hubby. She threw her towel over the railing to their deck and climbed the steps to sit in the warm water. Their backyard had a high fence so she didn't need to worry about any prying eyes.
