What expansive medium do you prefer?

I've been a part of this fetish for the longest time, and being a psychology student, I always interested in what people like most about this fetish. Though, today, I'm more curious about what medium people enjoy this kink through most.

Do you like online/actual roleplay? Acting as another or as your virtual self with a partner, reveling in the interactivity of inflating or being inflated?

Do you like inflation in movies? Seeing our kink on the big screen, in hi-def, with realistic sounds and growth(well, within reason.)

Do you like gifs/animations? Perfering short and sweet, to the point expansions that give you exactly what you want over the span of a couple seconds.

Do you like audio clips? Simply hearing the sounds of moans, stretching and squeaking, knowing that someone is thoroughly enjoying themselves as they get figuratively larger and larger.

Do you like stories? Reading along as the main character(s) progress through the plot, either embracing their wide series of talents, or figuring out how to overcome them before its too late and too little room to grow.

I very much enjoy online roleplay, acting as myself when inflated, virtual self when inflating. I like inflation in movies, sometimes. Audio clips, no. Audio stories, yes, especially if popping's involved. Faililng that, I like to reread the popping stories I've/other people have written. Some would make good audio stories, esp. Inflate Club, Haymaker I and II, plus a few others. My own Gas Suit might be a good audio story. I also like Cause and Effect; it'd be a good audio story.

One medium you negected to mention is good old-fashioned visual art. Fulfils the desire for visual feedback by portraying the completed inflation, or one currently underway. Plus, the act of drawing one's fantasies is often great fuel for imagining them.

Apart from that, I'm also fond of online roleplay (though my interest in this tends to vary), stories, and self-inflation (using a pillow or inflatable of some kind). Sometimes, though, it's more fun just to sit and conceptualize a "what-if?".

I like reading stories rather than watching animation of inflation. I like to imagine the story as I read on. Even in simple stories can you make it exciting. I never considered Role Playing before but maybe I should attempt someday.

Exactly, my apologies for not mentioning it earlier. Imagery is a very powerful thing, and is something never to be underestimated.

Furthermore, RP is quite an amazing concept, simply for its creative properties and how it provokes interaction. I'd say try in the least. It will be worth your time.

For me the exact medium doesn't matter as long as it's well done; I cannot get past poor writing or artistic skills. My primary interest is in stories and art, but movie scenes (e.g. 2005 Violet blueberry scene) are an occasional treat.

I have never roleplayed online before, but I wouldn't mind trying with the right person who has similar interests.

Sadly there is an abundance of "bad" content, but everyone likes to try their hand, and we are none to deny them. At least those treats that come every once and a while are worth every second we enjoy them.

I don't mind amateur or novice work. I've seen many crude works that hit the spot because the creator had an idea and put their heart into it. Any good artist will evaluate his own work honestly and look for ways to improve it. ("Improve" does not always mean slicker production value.) I'll happily sit through their evolution.

What really rubs my fur the wrong way is the talentless hack who buys some shiny software and then proceeds to mass produce several metric tonnes of crap, all the while congratulating himself on how wonderful it all is.

Real artists are never satisfied and always feel they could do better.

I really like stories, videos, and art. I also like to stuff my clothes with pillow and blankets to get the look, plus it's super comfortable and just fun.

I'm a huge fan of the simple conversation. RPs are awesome when you have the right partners, however I enjoy a "real" aspect to the whole thing. I don't expect to get to know a person on an incredibly close level. I just like to feel like there are other real people out there who share the same interests I do and I love discussing those interests, it opens up new things you may not have been interested in prior to that. Other than that I take whatever I can get. Since I am very visual, surprise inflations in movies are amazing, gifs get right to the point, morphed gifs of previously unexpanded clips are great, stories are fun, and audio is probably another top of the list because of the whole "real" person factor.

Close stuffing is a cute and simple way of pretending and can be quite satisfying when you just want to giggle at yourself at the end of the day.

NJinflation, I truly understand that feeling. I too mostly enjoy conversations now days, because its a lot more enjoyable than having to speed RP or create super long posts. Being on the level with another is one of the best ways to enjoy this fetish in my opinion.

Well... I do not practise virtual roleplay, only real with my gf if she's in the right mood (because she's not into inflation yet very curious). I do not like any inflation in movies, because it annihilates my concentration, you know :-). Inflation stories are not for me, too...unworhty, although I read very much. Audios - this is very difficult, I always took this fetish as silent pleasure, but I love the hissing sound of running air. But I do not like audio clips, the same reason as the stories, I must see it. :-)

But if you are psychologist or only into psychology as phenomenon, you ought to rather share thoughts or purposes personally. Yet I admit that one must start somewhere. :-)

True, though I find it curious that you say that the literature is "unworthy." I've never heard that medium called that. I have no accusatory tone when I say thats a different type of mentality. Yet I am none to say that being different is a bad thing.

As for me, I've expressed my inflationary workings to many others and they've helped me understand myself. I could go into triggers, but that would be a topic needing its own thread. Besides, I don't think people would like to listen about what my psychological ties are to this fetish, sounds rather boring.

I understand. That is ok, I do not want that my judgings should sound offensive in any point, just answered the question having been asked :-), so if I said that stories are "unworthy", I meant it as they are - functionally - unworthy for me. Yet I have read someone of them and I can say with full objectivity that they have (many of them) very good quality, e.g. great lexical variety which enhances portraiture, atmosphere...feeling and so on. Perhaps I should say "unfunctional" or something.

But - from the psychological point of view - it may depend on my high respect to books and written knowledge and "classic" education, so it may be some type of "block". That's why I may consider reading as source of sexual pleasure rather inappropriate. :-D

So...that way, please do not me mad ;-)
