Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, so for those interested:

Blueberry Scene

superninja

I will tell tales of your compassion and greatness. *Ends Anchorman reference*

Wow, thanks! Great find.

And such is me! I'm always bored and always open to chat or what have you. ^^

dpmphoenix

Thanks for posting this so quickly, I thought it would be awhile before this was online.

bluepengreenpen

Good first post!

Thanks dude.

superninja

It's fairly decent once you get past the shakeyness and cam-in-theater action.

And such is me! I'm always bored and always open to chat or what have you. ^^

Izzy

You know, I've been into inflation since I was very, very young... and that scene was really... creepy.

where does the file download to?

harrisonford08

Mosherballoon: Chances are you just clicked on the download link as I almost did until I saw that it was a direct link to the file and not a download script. If you did that, it's probably in your temp directory. If not, Just right click and save as or save link as if you're using firefox like I do :)

Critical: Thanks so much. I've been looking forward to this for awhile :)

i didnt really like the scene all that much, probably the cg ruined it and a little dark too, but it is Tim Burton

Tinmible

Thanks a whole lot! Was really really curious to see what this looked like.

It was really good. Obviously CG but good. I was expecting it to be really fast like I heard. I was pleasently surprised to see that it took some time for her to get full blown. I think I prefer the original just because it had the belt, not to mention her screaming for help.

On the same subject: Is it just me, or did that scene seem really scary. The music and the gurgling really makes the part a little frightening. When I was a kid, the original creeped me the hell out (mainly the part where Agustus gets stuck in the tube). Makes me wonder if the next generation of kids seeing this are getting the heebee Jebees from this one.

funkyjrtb

i liked it, unlike the original, she blows up more like a water balloon, which makes good sense.

Didn't mind the CGI, i've seen worse.

i like both the classic and this version, both give different interperitations of the same thing.

oh yeah much darker than the original.

and yes quite scary. i bet if i was a child watching that it would freak the hell out of me.

woof.

Arcanumbot

I saw it in theaters....twice.

LOVE THE DOWNLOAD YOU RAWK

Yeah, the music seemed inappropriately menacing considering what was going on. I'd kinda expect something more, I dunno, cartoony.

funkyjrtb

So, you wanted violet to get all berried to an Umpa band? (you know, german music).

Now, remember though, we are talking Tim Burton, which automatically will make parts of the movie intentionally creepy... and then lets not forget it's a more faithful adaptation of the Dahl book, which was kinda creepy as well.

So to say that a girl, after being a disobidient little brat and grabbing some gum, which gives her somewhat of a shocking just deserts has unexpectidely menacing music is kinda, i don't know, strange to think of.

of course, the original movie had no music playing while violet expanded, until the oompa loompa's entered...

I have a few words to say...God bless Tim Burton. I'm not saying this in the cheesy "I like inflation so much it's just plain wrong" kind of way that i've seen most people act like. I'm saying it because he's managed to make some, if not most, inflationists realise that this isn't always just happy-smiley-sunshine-rainbows. It's dark, it's often creepy and is not pleasant for the 'victim' in most cases. If I ever met Tim Burton, I would personally shake his hand for giving inflationists the thorough and well deserved proverbial "slap in the face".

This is the world of inflation my friends...you don't ride, you strap yourself in and brace yourself!

P.S. Whoo! You rawk Tim Burton! \,,/. n_n .\,,/

He's really not the first. Unless the inflation is centered solely on the breasts, the person getting inflated in a mainstream media thing is pretty much never happy about it.

ok seriously it will not let me download it. i comes up on to rapidshare, then what do i do will someone please walk me through it please

hairyman

How are you guys downloading it? I click the link, scroll down and press 'Free'. Then I scroll down on the following page and it says 'violet.mpg has been requested' but it also says something like 'the IP address has been blocked for extreme material'. What have I missed?

Beware! Beware! There's lots of hair!

mark

well it's still pretty sexy when done right.

woof.

DwarfPriest

Hey, Mogman, ever heard about popping? :p
And my thoughts on the scene: Very interesting way of dealing with it. By what I could make out of the clip, the blue "spread" through her skin, instead of gradualy changing (I like more the gradual effect), but she grew, like, huge! Her members and her head were beign almost sucked in her body, and she grew even taller, instead of just blowing up to the sides. Makes you wonder how much pressure she must be going in there.
I think that whoever made the special effects, must have seen some blueberry artwork around here... hehehe...

I saw it tonight, and i agree with Dwarf, parts of it looked like one of the pics you'll see here. i liked it as a whole as well.

your friendly nighberhood Puffy Cheek Lover!

Spectre

As an animation geek I have to say that the fluid dynamics of the scene were handled well. Software can elegantly handle elaborate soft-body physics like that now which is a boon to inflation freaks I suppose.

I'm also partial to the gurgling and puffing cheeks as well. All in all I think it's handled probably better than any expansion I've seen.

Unfortunately the file is much too big for me to email it to you. If you have an AIM screenname then just email it to me at handemansolo@hotmail.com and I'll send it through IM.

To everybody who says it's too dark, I think its mostly the camera. I just turn up the brightness on media player in the video settings options to fix that.

bladeben

Personalyl I think this one is better then the original mainly just for the reason her belly pops out of her tracksuit and you see her belly button! Also the fact she gets so much bigger and rounder though it would have been good to see her clothes burst off.

Dude.Inflatable

I like the way she inflates similar to a marshmallow in a microwave in one shot. :) I think that's a nifty new way to inflate. Plus, just the way it actually looks like she's filling up with a heavy liquid, as opposed to the first one. Looking back at the first one, you can see that the "juice" goes everywhere in her body the same time. The animation team did a good job on it, but sadly yes, it could've looked more realistic.

masthead

thanks for the warning...I can't stand Burton...his stuff in interesting but in the end you have all this dark crap in your head that you really didn't need...I just dont' see how he keeps getting work....he works out of his own personal hell and sells it as art...sometimes I wonder if the worst stuff I have seen will be the last stuff I see when I die...I do not want any more dark crap in my head...as a matter of fact, I want less of it...
I like this inflation stuff because in life women do inflate...they do change shape...and most of them love it...they spend their whole life fighting off the intense desire to eat until they can't move...nature programmed them to hoard fat for babies and it would follow that men should support their efforts...fertility survival issues taken a tad too far for sure but at least it is a life afferming erotica....no point making it a dark night mare...when its a beautiful thing...for some of us anyway...

Fukureru-Shogun

Um I dunno, I've always liked the darker aspect of inflation. I'm not sure if its the cynical part of me, or if my own varient of the inflation fetish is sort of a twisted version of a bondage kink...

I guess I like when its a bit more unnatural...the panic was definatly there, the atmosphere, it was great. I definatly like the new scene.

To each thier own, though. ^_^

Mogman, you've clearly missed out on a very active side of inflation if you thought everyone was all 'happy-smiley-sunshine-rainbows' try reading one of Sickstars or Invizkings stories. I'd even hazard that more of the inflation scene has historically been centred around the darker, umpleasant side than the lighter 'kid's balloons' side.

Completely agree. I'd wager that not half of the stories on this site are of the cartoony type.

superninja

Indeed.. Ever read/see Hoju/Freakinweairdo's work? Some of that was borderline disturbing.

..I liked it, but it was still pretty dark at times >_>

Bob_King

It's an inflation scene on a big budget, now there's something you don't get to see very often! Technically, it was brilliant, but I still prefer the origional.

I liked the fear/disbelieving aspect of the origional, where as this one (as good as it is) is done in such a way that there's no tangible panic.

The moody setting was great, and I liked the music and sound effects too, but a few more "She'll burst!" or "Help! Help me!" lines wouldn't have gone a miss.

Shady

Hmm..I like it. But it's pretty dark.
