It was from a current comic book issue of Nightmare on Elm Street (Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre also have comic book runs too). A girl who loved to eat junk food was targeted by Freddy as she fattened up in her dream and Freddy used one of his claws to pop her, thus bursting gruesomely in real life.

I know dwarf, and I know for sure that it was in one of the specials, purely because the artwork on the cover matches the style of the pages I saw...at least from what I remember it does....I just need to find a website that has the pages from the specials.
