Looking for a Inflatable Fashion Fetishist in the UK

Dear All,
Illuminations is currently producing a documentary series about 'Global Erotica' for a UK television channel- One section of the programme will be dedicated to 'Fetishism' and we would love to get in touch with an 'Inflatable Fashion Fetishist' who would be media friendly - Unfortunately, Mr Blow-up seems to have disappeared for quite sometime.
Would you email me any suggestions to
luana@illumin.co.uk
Many thanks for your co-operation.

Wow this is actually quite funny...all of you here pine and pray for some media notice...and when it comes along you seem to either avoid it or ignore it.

I'm pretty sure most of us aren't really looking for attention. Personally, I'd rather not be noticed and have our little corner of the web relatively unmolested. I'm sure there's a slew of people who would bother us if they knew we existed or where to find us. Besides, I'm not entirely sure what an inflatable fashion fetishist is. If it has anything to do with blow up toys it probably honestly doesn't have anything to do with a large chunk of us anyhow.

You really need to tone down the snarky attitude. I don't know where you get your sources from, but last I checked, lots of people rather keep their fetish secret.

Besides, the person wanted to be EMAILED info. Not posted here :P (Not that there's anything wrong with posting it here.)

I'm pretty sure he's talking about inflatable clothing / catsuits / hoods etc.

I would drop Katherine Gates a note. She's gates@gatesofheck.com and she interviewed me for her book Deviant Desires. She could well know how to reach Mr. Blowup, or someone else who would work for your program. She is the foremost academic scholar when it comes to sexual deviance.

Hope that helps.

Meanwhile, I have a long list of almosts when it comes to media appearances. I was almost interviewed by The Daily Show back in the Kilborn era. I was almost interviewed for a VH1 program. Almost, almost.

It usually comes down to either nobody wanting to share this part of their life on TV or, if you do get someone who's willing, the producers of the show change their mind. (Daily Show dropped the ball as soon as they realized that I knew they would be making fun of me, and I said I was down to be in on the joke.)

I know Mr. Blowup is about as "out" as an inflatable fetishist can get, and I give him tons of props for being that way. I am fine with radio interviews or print, but I am uncomfortable on camera--it's the nature of the sexual fetish beast, I think, to be private and keep it at home, especially when it's something most people can't even understand, let alone accept.
