Not really sure if it's of interest, but there's a new Sci-Fi Channel commercial in which a man inflates his dog into a balloon animal.

That's been around for a long time (at least a year or two). I always thought it was a little wierd a guy was willing to put his lips on a dog's ass.

I only ever watched Sci-Fi for MST3K.
He blows it up and it comes to life. Its not exactly new (if its the one I saw. dont know if there are two of those). Probably it was the first time you saw it though. But I first saw it in 2005, when I started getting into the channel.
I remember the man who poofed up in the elevator. I dont know of anymore inflation related. If there are more, itd be great.
