I was wondering what people felt about lycra being their favourite clothing for inflatees! I think it gives my body a balloon like texture!

I don't know much about types clothing, but I love suits that also cover hands and feets(but you can use same color gloves too ofcourse) and I don't like too smooth surface, like rubber. So I want inflatable rubber suits covered with clothing :)

Tracksuits, obviously, by which i mean the soft ones, preferably skintight with lycra.

Lycra is alright...especially the "wet look" type, with it's rubber-like surface shine. The animal prints you can get with lycra also make it excellent.
Like Rubbercat, I think latex is preferable because of its more skin-like feel and the smell. Neoprene and vulcanized rubber also have their joys. :wink:

It's weird, but I'm not sure if I like lycra because of inflation, or inflation because of lycra. As a kid of the 80's I grew up watching those morning aerobic shows (hey, I'm a red blooded male!) so I guess the idea of ladies in lycra has always appealed to me. So a woman dressed in lycra blimping up is even better, so when I read Sievert's story Toys I knew I'd found my fetish.
Since then lycra (or some tight, but stretchy fabric) has always featured in my fantasies, and also recently because it's easier to draw!

I like ordinary clothes with a little bit more stretch than expected. It's just something about the inflation in ordinary situations... and of course when they start to tear and burst off as the girl beneath expands.

Lycra, spandex and tights (pantyhose) are what I started out with and still enjoy using for inflation.
Latex is also fantastic and gives you the feeling of actually being a balloon, which is really nice. ^_^
I'm not fussed too much about what I wear... though out of personal preference it'd have to be latex now that I've tried it. ^_^

Personally, I love latex/rubber. I just love the feel of it, and it feels great when it gets tense. But, never had a chance (or money) to have it in a catsuit of any sort. -_-'
However, I never used Lycra, so I'm not a very good judge.

I definitely prefer lycra to latex, not that i've ever used the latter, but i don't like its feel or smell. Lycra is marvellous. I would say i wonder why, but then i could say the same thing about the whole fetish so there's not much point going down that road.

Lycra is great, but my personal preference is for something with tension, like vinyl or rubber, which adds the bondage element to the scenario. Like Inflate123's story "Remote Possibilities", where the heroine is trapped in a skintight vinyl suit and fears that the added pressure could cause her to burst.

I have sort of the opposite thing, where i imagine clothing preventing expansion and zippers either unzipping and causing bursting or pricking into someone and popping them.

For me since im a kid. 3xl woman opaque or semi opaque tights and a xl or bigger spandex bodysuit. It hold inflation very nicely. The fabrick can get stretch to the max and when you pad with very large pillows, it give a nice shape. Here what I look like when im home. Thats what I call my normal size. Heavy but so confortable. I also sleep like that.

i like lycra, but i also like something like a baggy pair of sweatpants, the kind that are slightly stretchy but creates a firm surface. (i`m a stuffer. prefere to inflate my pants.)

I agree with most of the guys in here. I love latex but also love lycra as well. I like how lycra will stretch to a point then give really great presure to my inflations.

i personally love lycra. its so light and stretchy. it comes in many cool colours and styles, plus its very cheap. i wanna get some latex and try it as well, but that will have to wait til i can get some better privacy. :P

I'm not picky, but yeah, I am happier if it's a stretchier material when it comes down to it. :P
I prefer latex... :D
